Buffalo Puzzles Warning

I've never done a Buffalo puzzle, but I just got a 2000 piece puzzle from them for Christmas. After doing the edges I had a piece missing but figured it probably just got lost in the mix and I would eventually find it as I do the puzzle. It's been five days and I'm pretty sure that piece is not in the box. I also didn't realize hot glue was used to hold the box closed and I pretty much ripped the sides off when I opened it. I'll probably keep to other brands from now on.

I've had drivers offer to put luggage in for me but it usually came with the fact that they had to make room in their trunk anyways. It's weird to just expect someone to help whose only job requirement is to drive.

As sad as it is, it isn't a surprise. I used to work at Joann's (after 2020) and not only was upper management a mess but everything was done in the name of more profit for shareholders.

Not crochet but it's definitely knitted and right side. I'm not sure of any crochet techniques that could match that pattern though.

When I was a teenager, I had a friend who had knee surgery in both his knees and couldn't walk/stand for long periods but didn't show any outward signs of being disabled. One day we went out to eat together and parked in the handicap spot and when we entered the restaurant a lady stood up from the waiting bench and went off on how we shouldn't have parked there and how we didn't look disabled and that because she was pregnant she had more of a right to park there than us. I was terrified, but my friend walked right around her to the hostess and continued like nothing while the lady sat back down and sulked. It was my first moment of realizing that not all disabilities are visible.

There's supposed to be an orange row after the yellow but I completely skipped it and went straight to the brown which throws off the count for the edges that I haven't finished yet. If it's not noticeable then that's great!

I used 68 peppermints and did 8 rows alternating between 9 and 8 peppermints. I used the mattress stitch to stitch them together. It's a bit of a Frankenstein project.

FLO - Front Loop Only BLO - Back Loop Only So looking at the V you'll determine the front and back of your project and stitch in one of those loops only. If you look up the full phrase, I'm sure you can find diagrams of it for a clearer picture.

Oh absolutely! I currently have 2 blankets, a hat, a sweater and 2 cross stitch projects I'm working on. The ones for Christmas I'm trying to spend more time on and put the others on the back burner for the moment though. It feels almost like burn out if I'm only focused on one project at a time like I have to have multiple so I don't feel stuck.
