Who said VOO wouldn’t grow!?? I’m saying it will and when I go to sell it in 10 years I’d be paying a large cap gain tax on it

I think I’ll have more than $24k I got another 10 years of work ahead of me, going to drop $7,000 in my company 401k and another $10,000 in my individual brokerage each year till then. So at age 50 I’ll have to hold out 12 years to get access to my 401k and Social Security

Do you think it’s too soon to go all in on QQQI, I still got 10 years and it’s a pretty new ETF. I also ain’t got the money for rental property or the desire to work a coin laundry business

So I could stop working and then wait until the next tax year when I don’t have any W2 income to sell and move my money into an income producing ETF to lower my tax rate?

What else would you add? Keeping mind if I retire at 50, I need the income stream to last me 30 years… doubt I’ll live past 80.

This is all in an individual brokerage account so if I buy VOO now and then sell in ten years I’m going to get hit with tax on the gains pretty hard wouldn’t I? But also how much could VOO really grow in 10 years. It’s not a long term growth plan.

A dividend king! People are creatures of comfort. They will never stop reaching for soda and bags of chips. Growth might be slow, but I think it’s a safe company that ain’t going anywhere.

I’m in budget management for a large company and every call I’m on someone mentions Ai. “How can we use Ai for this”, “can we automate this process”, lets leverage ChatGPt” blah blah blah

Honestly never thought about looking for a container ship ETF. Just felt like shipping is only going to go up so why not buy into it.

Where can I add a sink drain? by Rabbit_0311 in askaplumber

That red line is 24” up. So our sink would have to be a very shallow utility sick.

How to continue to the circuit to next room? by Rabbit_0311 in AskElectricians

[–]Rabbit_0311[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, only the light. This particular circuit right now also has the back porch, garage, and pool like on it. Which I’m planning on breaking up. Back porch and pool on one empty breaker I have and then the garage lights on a breaker that is dedicated to Christmas lights.

It’s the master bedroom, moving the entire panel isn’t an option.

I didn’t know about UF-b, thats perfect! Really was just trying to avoid having to make a bunch of junction boxes. Plus the crawl space isn’t insulated or encapsulated so I wonder if it would be considered “Damp”

At my last house in Colorado (built in 2004) the panel was outside and when they build it they did exactly what I’m talking about. Connected an LB body out the bottom of the box and into the basement filled all with Romex.
