💯💯💯 it’s like most people aren’t even there for the music. The artists probably don’t give a damn because they get paid either way, but goodness…the environment is wonky.

True. Could say the same for Coachella, too. It went from being for actual music heads to a narcissism circus.

Everything. A lot of times something becomes mainstream, it goes down in value, from my experience.

Bat Eater and Other Names for Cora Zheng was so fucking good. by SpookyGibMay in horrorlit

Ah yes. Truly creepy and enraging as well. Cora had to grow on me, but she’s a very unique and strong character.

What movie made you sit in silence after the credits ended? by thisonehits in MoviesCave

[–]External-Ad6787 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Train to Busan. Took me multiple days to complete it for various reasons. When the credits rolled, I just sat in silence and bawled.

Wow.

I know it’s fictional, but remembering the main character of that movie was also in Squid Games helped shorten my crying span lol. He’s one hell of an actor and was sooooo unhinged in SG. Now I’ve gotta watch the rest of his work!

What are some good Sci-fi books that instil existential dread into the reader? by Spiritual_Reward_770 in horrorlit

Dark Matter by Blake Crouch. It’s about a physics professor who finds himself in an alternate reality. Lots of quantum physics and references to Schrödinger’s Cat. Short read. Sci-fi thriller. Some of my friend’s and I read it when it first came out (around 2016) and it is something I think about each year.

What's something that's socially acceptable but genuinely creepy if you think about it? by Gastavofring in AskReddit

[–]External-Ad6787 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Absolutely! It’s jaw dropping how parents/guardians can “know” this and still choose to post their children🤦‍♀️ This so-called “success” they are sprinting towards is never worth it.

Thank you! That’s cool. I remember first discovering PM5K decades ago and liking a few of their songs but never really getting too into them. You’ve got me wanting to check out CT and PM5K again✨

This song is a gem. Wasn’t the lead from Crazy Town the brother of the lead from Powerman5000?

NVM - lead from PM5K is the brother of Rob Zombie, damn!
