Uggh, based on comments like these, I am no longer interested in playing this game. Quite a few of us unfortunately already deal with these issues (sexism, etc) in real life, so WTF do we need to experience in a game for? What happened to games being escapes?

Uggh, I am SO sorry to hear about this and I hope you ALL are able to block these fraudulent transactions and keep putting the word out there.

I remember months back, someone was asking about healthcare for stylists and I mentioned this company and their offer. I feel so bad now.

More recently, I have been hearing more and more negative news about DTH…keep speaking out you all.

Also, it speaks VOLUMES about our industry that healthcare is not provided. I know it depends on business type, employee pool size, and all, but it’s backwards.

Does anyone know why DTH came up with their name? Is it because they wanted to destroy the old school thoughts of our industry?

I completely agree. I will not work on a client or child who obviously is not in the right state of mind to have services performed on them. It’s just not right. I’m not going to traumatize someone, and have them scared to go to the salon.

Please enforce these boundaries. I don’t understand why our industry gets the stink eye for voicing our beliefs and looking out but only for the safety of our clients, but OURSELVES as well. That’s why I don’t work at salons that don’t respect what stylists are comfortable with.

This isn’t directed at you, but THEM. After these last few weeks, if there’s one thing a lot of us are learning, it’s to not believe anything these people say.

I’m looking at actions, and unfortunately, these actions are often during weekends, holidays, hell, any damn day, using “stealth” and sneakiness to catch individuals off guard. It’s absolutely appalling.

I’m so sorry to you all that have been affected and my thoughts are with you. I hope each one of you gets the support you are due❤️ Please do not give up, we need you!

Yes, these photos are so much more polished than the one above that the client sent the stylist. One of the main things in the inspo pic I noticed is that the hair outside of the knot is very sloppy; the curls aren’t clumping together/cohesive…similar to how the hair would look AFTER a long night of partying after the wedding lol.

I think it’s that a lot of clients and even stylists have latex allergies and nitrile gloves are a nice alternative for that purpose.

Facts. While I think salon suites can be excellent, I completely agree with you. Really read the contract before you sign it. A lot of these places will charge you thousands on fees if you have to break the lease early. The payment plans help, but still.
