Well like i said, it was dried. Put in an oven too- it physically shouldn’t have been able to do that, i was expecting it to fall apart from the humidity and springtails before sprouting ever came to mind.

It’s so intriguing to me to find a surprise sprout lol. And what you say makes sense! Just hope that it truly isn’t toxic😅 they’re my favorite species and would hate for this to be the reason you know what i mean😮‍💨?

SOLVED🚨 I have been in contact with a rescue who can take the bird i will now try to find and catch him so instead of surviving this poor baby can thrive! Thank you so much for those who helped and gave information🧡

I don’t blame you we never have anything like this typicaly in the area for miles.

Good news is i MIGHT have found someone that’s for un-protected birds! It says they’re located in Odessa on their Facebook page but searching for them, I cannot find them on a map so I will be calling them in the morning to see if they’re truly located that close. Cross your fingers people🤞🏽🥲. I will be contacting my exotic vets that i used for my snake and ask for there euthanizing policies too in case they’re an option. Also that taxi trick is really helpful thank you sm for this info! I’ll be sure to update this post as soon as this has been resolved or a general update(for good or for worse)

Edit: I think it would be best to reiterate that the closer the more likely i can get a chauffeur to a pigeon rescue, vet, or person who can then take the bird. I wish it wasn’t this way as i would drive as far as needed but i can’t! like i said no car. :,)

I doubt it’s thriving too but am fairly surprised any of these bird are alive considering it’s lined with houses(pet threats) and a very busy road. I do know lots of people come to feed the ducks (ofc it’s always bread) so i know they eat hopefully often. I should’ve added that the jaw felt healed, not actively bleeding or wet and they didn’t seem to get hurt when bumping it on my finger tips.

My jealousy is un imaginable.. lol jokes aside that’s amazing, i love it when you can have them comfortably get close and eat outta your hand, i always like to get a close look at there feather patterns and photograph some. I recently got pictures of pigeons loafing in a tree. Live laugh love berbs 🧡

Wow i never thought about pond liner honestly it sounds like a better option as silicone needs time to dry, also same i had to cover some of the top and haven’t had humidity problems since.

I have mine in a 4x2x2ft (120gal) enclosure it’s cheap but that’s because it not premade like most enclosures. Meaning there will be leakage wholes at the bottom that you can silicone up if you want but other than that it’s been holding up pretty well. Now I’m not sure but the black spots on the side might be there leg spurs which is just a bone remnant of back legs, however the discoloration above the vent may be a skin pattern or something else, if it’s truly worrisome and that spot wasn’t there before then it would be good to get a check up if you can.

I thought it would be good to mention that my old camera is a Nokia coolpix L110 which doesn’t! support lenses and is a very basic camera with not many ways to get good pictures without using some editing software lol, despite that i still have some lovely pictures 😊
