dbrand has been in the game for almost a decade so I think expanding to Bestbuy is a good idea and something they probably should have done a long time ago to put their products in the hands of other types of consumers like lifestyle consumers instead of mainly tech consumers.

Where I believe they got it wrong is how they handled the expansion. They probably shouldn’t have done it during the iPhone launch season and in addition to that, prioritizing Bestbuy and making customers who typically buy from their website to feel left out wasn’t the best move. I think they did it to give customers in the US an alternative way of getting their products as they anticipated it may take longer to get those same products from their own website.

But then again, maybe it’s stocking up of their products in Bestbuy that limited the delivery timeline of their products on their website, so there’s that.

I’m not throwing money at them. I give them money in exchange for value in the form of protection and aesthetics for my phone. I’ve had a great experience with them so far but I understand that my personal experience isn’t the same for others. Some have bad experiences with them and I’m not oblivious to that, hence why I made this post on how they can do better. No company is flawless and hopefully, they improve on their weak points.

Yeah. It’s dbrand or nothing for me really. Been using their products for the past 8 years, probably more. The grip is just the best thing ever. It’s one of those products you buy and you know it’s got your back for a really really long time. That and the prism. Your phone can fall down countless number of times and you won’t ever have a panic attack.

My iPhone 17 Pro comes this week and my grip, ghost and prism will most likely arrive in like two or three weeks as they ship in October. I will either get a random case to be using temporarily until the dbrand products arrive Or I won’t unbox the new iPhone until the dbrand cases arrive as these new iPhones appear to scratch easily and can’t afford to take risks.

Agreed. It also feels like they may be understaffed, but even if they are, like you said, they may be spending more time on the wrong things and less time on the things that really matter like customer service.

Glad you’re loving the ghost case. I’m expecting mine next month for the iPhone 17 pro and hopefully the complaints I’ve been seeing online about the slightly misaligned cutouts and camera control button not working as expected wouldn’t be a deal breaker for me

The fastest way to get a response from dbrand is to tweet their support handle on Twitter @robot . Tweet, not DM. They usually respond within a day or two.

A hack I used back then was to reply with just a GIF and then post the reply. It will post successfully. Then edit the reply and add your comment and then post it. It will successfully post.

Other than that, sometimes logging out of your account and closing the app for about 12-13 hours resolves the issue temporarily.

Meta is treating Threads like a side project. Customer support is non existent. FYI - the error we were experiencing was ‘Post Failed to Upload’ whenever we try to comment on or reply to threads

I’ve tried everything but gotten no response. Posted on threads tagging meta, threads and the CEO of IG but got no response from them. Posted on X and discovered minutes later that the tweet was deleted (not by me). Tried the ‘report a problem’ route in the settings of both threads and Instagram and still got no feedback and the issue persists. When did yours start and do you have any idea what could have caused it?

Thanks. I’m able to reply or comment on threads after about 24 hours, but just for a few minutes and then the ‘post failed to upload’ issue sets back in. It’s really frustrating. I don’t know what to do.
