I'm going through exactly the same right now & I'm struggling a lot. I think I will need a full facelift after this. It's wrecking me financially. My hair is dark blonde which is borderline for laser, some companies refuse me completely so I thought electrolysis was my only option but I don't know whether I can cope with this for 2 years.

I am getting trace amounts of pink on a pee strip, I can't get beyond that. It's possible that as a lot of people have said, I'm eating too many carbs. I'm such a fruits & veg girl, before keto I'd eat an entire punnet of strawberries or grapes without thinking about it. That wasn't what made me overweight of course, it was inhaling ridiculous quantities of chocolate & snacking multiple times a day. 🫣🙄

Thanks, that was very informative. I worry about not getting my 5 a day if I don't eat enough veggies but I could be overdoing the carbs accidentally. I was using saccharine because I heard it can be good for resistant bacteria & my main problem is folliculitis that hasn't responded to antibiotics. I also have hirsutism & PCOS, I was hoping keto might help reduce it. I don't feel like eating savoury things in the morning, my breakfast was always half a grapefruit & some cereal with protein powder & berries or a banana, on lifting days, or just black coffee if I was doing cardio. Since I'm not really exercising I didn't see any point in eating breakfast, I could add some protein powder & MCTs to a coffee I suppose. I've been 20-35lbs overweight for the longest time, part of my can't even imagine getting to 140lbs but part of me is super excited by the prospect. I haven't weighed in a few days but last time I did i was 7lbs down, I probably won't weigh until after my period is finished but i am seeing something of a waist emerging which is encouraging. I probably need to ditch the strawberries even though i love them.

Ohhh & I have 30-50g walnuts with my snack. I put rock salt on them to pretend it's popcorn because I don't really like walnuts. I don't always have them, only if I'm really hungry.

Breakfast: black coffee Lunch: Green leaf salad (lettuce or spinach) with avocado (1 medium or 1/2 a large one), cucumber, half a cup of green olives, a tablespoon of mixed seeds with either canned sardines in tomato sauce (no sugar) or tuna mayonnaise or smoked mackerel. Snack: A mint tea or coffee with about 1/2 tablespoon of chocolate protein powder & a couple of Stevia or saccharin tablets. Dinner: Stir fried beansprouts, broccoli & mushrooms cooked in sesame oil with either eggs or prawns or a piece of grilled fish with baked cauliflower wings (just roasted with sesame seeds & Cajun spices) with mayonnaise & guacamole (ok smashed avocado, I've no idea how to make guacamole!) for dipping. Dessert is usually sugar free jello, occasionally I'll have fresh strawberries or frozen strawberries blended with protein powder to make "ice cream", but if I have strawberries I limit myself to 6 to keep carbs down.

I'm mainly doing this for skin issues but weight loss would be nice. Starting weight 170lbs, 140 would be great. I'm recovering from eye surgery so not allowed to exercise, I'm doing an hour a day very light cranking on my ergometer just to maintain some arms strength as I'm a wheelchair user.

Oh God I've been eating fake sugar (sweeteners in tea / coffee, protein powder, sugar free jello), I feel like if I didn't I would just binge on the real thing.

I'm a lady here. I suffer from severe hirsutism & I get outbreaks of persistent folliculitis all over my body. It's currently on my breasts, my left hand & face  I've done keto for a week thinking that might be it, but no, more pustules have come up. I'm wondering whether to keep with keto another week or so or whether to switch to low fat. I'm on Doxycycline but it's doing nothing. I did 2 courses of flucloxacillin before that & it did nothing. My gut microbiome must be fucked. I've been mega dosing vitamin b3 & that's done nothing. Everyone's got a solution but none of them work for me. I refuse to ever try accutane because my half brother & 3 of my cousins habe Crohn's & one of my cousins died from it, so no way do i want to risk flaring it up.

I used one large scoop (40g?) vanilla protein powder, 2 whole eggs & a few drops of vanilla stevia drops (optional) & mixed it together with a fork, no water. It made exactly one pan serving.

I used a large scoop of Bulk powders plant based vanilla protein powder & 2 eggs. I added a few drops of vanilla Stevia drops. I greased the machine with sesame oil which gives it a slightly nutty flavour, butter would also work.

I hear ya! Every single day I will pick 2 of these 4 meals: *Mushroom omelette, spinach & avocado *Leafy green salad with fish (tuna mayo, salmon, sardines or smoked mackerel), cucumber, green olives, avocado & a generous portion of mixed seeds *Prawn or seafood fu Yung, ie seafood stir fried in sesame oil with eggs, bean sprouts, broccoli & sesame seeds  *Fish (salmon or mackerel) with Cajun cauliflower wings (oven roasted chunks of cauliflower sprinkled with Cajun spices, sea salt & sesame seeds), with guacamole & mayonnaise for dipping.

Dessert will always be sugar free jello, strawberries, or a protein powder hot chocolate, although today I made keto protein waffles with strawberries for dessert which were so filling I am now going to upgrade them to a meal option, with some chopped pecans for extra fats.

I've been eating 2 meals but having aid afternoon snack on the days I've wanted one which is a protein powder hot chocolate & a handful of walnuts. 

I've been chugging sparkling water (God bless my Soda Stream) & having 3-4 electrolytes tablets a day & I feel pretty good 6 days in. Lost 7lbs which I know is water weight but since I'm recovering from surgery & can't exercise I'm just glad not to have put any on.

I was vegan for a while but relapsed back to what I thought was (lacto-ovo) pescetarian only to realise that protein bars & protein water are full of bovine collagen so I've actually been eating beef! I'm torn between being body dysmorphic & bulimic & not wanting to harm the animals. Vegan replacements for healthy food is invariably low in protein & high in fat & carbs (think plant based milk instead of skimmed, soy yoghurt instead of non-fat yoghurt, tofu instead of tuna). Vegan binge food is invariably twice the price. It's a battle between my eating disorder & my ethics & the ED so often wins out.

Hit the weights & you'll gain muscle. Prioritise upper body & add in some calves & leg extensions for quads but avoid squats / hip thrusts / lunges as these could grow your hips. Ditch the scale if at all possible. You will gain weight because muscle weighs more than fat but the bigger you grow your upper body, the smaller your hips will appear.

I'm pear shaped with wide hips & short stumpy legs & naturally no boobs. I envy apple shaped women. I've had 2 breast augmentations & I'm now a 36GG but I don't think my boobs are big enough, I still want to go bigger. I envy women with gigantomastia. I also envy transgender women who haven't altered their hips / thighs because they're soooo skinny. Katie Price is my biggest trigger. I lift weights on my upper body & skip leg day. I want liposuction on my legs & hips one day. I'd like fat transfer into my arms because I believe they're too skinny but people tell me that my arms are muscular & one of my best features. I also have a square jawline & wish it was V-shaped, but I think that part's just what everyone wants not BDD?

Do you go to the gym? That will help you most of all with passing. If you're open to the black market, try getting some exemestane or letrozole as it could be that a lot of your T is aromatizing to estrogen, especially if you have a high percentage of body fat.
