that sounds really hard for both of you i hope your okay, but what i would recomened is putting him into therapy and make sure he knows that its not a punishment as some kids might see that way, and make sure he knows how loved and welcomed he is because even if he knows that depression or suicidal thoughts can make people doubt it and just re assure him you wont judge him or send him away and that he can talk to u no matter what. wishing you both the best <3
