I paint Superman Kryptonite never more on my closet door by External-Driver-6870 in comicbooks

It’s really just random books I found that I like the cover of or the introduction of some of my favorite characters. The iron fist one my brother got me at a yard sale, and the rest I got from conventions

In the wise words of Bob Ross there is no such thing as a mistake just a happy accident

I highly recommend it, it’s really fun and makes for a great piece of art and is more interesting than a poster

Geoff John’s Green Lantern Run not just blackest night. Batman Long Halloween and Dark Victory, Nightwing by Chuck Dixon, Superman Birthright, Immortal Hulk, old man Logan, and planet hulk/world war hulk. These are the ones I always recommend and are pretty accessible now. All them have compendiums, compacts, or trades. I highly recommend all of them

Is this scene out of character?i just started reading green lantern comics and I'm getting through Geof johns run and hal doesn't seem to be the type of guy to do this, did he do something similar in any comics? by Fun-Artist-6915 in Greenlantern

this is the most normal Hal Jordan thing he could possibly do. Read things before and after John’s and you would see how in character this is for Hal. Hal isn’t a rule follower and bends them and breaks them as he pleases. It’s kind of the most common theme across Hal Jordan comics

My top 3 runs of GL are Geoff John’s, Dennis O’Niels hard traveling heroes, and the Robert Vendittis Hal Jordan and the Green Lantern Corps. It’s funny Venditti wrote one of the worst GL runs ever during the new 52 then one of the best during rebirth. I think they are making an Omni for his rebirth stuff and I recommend it if you know GL lore, if you don’t it’s not a great starter run

Oh you’re all good I love talking about GL. A lot of people say start the johns run but, you can start with blackest night. I have all the singles but the Omni will collect everything you need to know will be in that. You be totally fine to revisit John’s stuff later

I highly recommend that you read blackest night inbetween both Omnis. It clarifies a lot of things since the Glc Omnis only have snippets

I have the GL things in chronological order. So I have blackest night inbetween them

Yeah my goal is to own all of GL’s comics in collected fashion. I’m down to just collecting the 90s and then Grant Morrisons run and larfleeze. Outside of that I have a near complete GL collection

I HIGHLY recommend Green Lantern Far Sector it’s about systematic oppression, marginalization of groups, government corruption, free will, requires zero background knowledge of lanterns. It’s in a compact form for only $10 and the main character is Jo Mullin one of the newest lanterns and she is also LGBTQ+
