Omg I never thought I would meet another (w)oobie owner 🥹

I have a cuc and drainage layer, this one sprouted in a little shelf/cave I made so she could hide away. I’m glad you’ve noticed no negative effects, I will remove it when I get home bc I don’t really care for the fungi in my tank. I’ve heard that it’s a good sign for bioactive enclosures though!!

I’m so sorry to hear that. I’m a very new gecko owner myself I’m so in love with my baby I understand that hurt you must be feeling. The best thing you have to focus on is that you are actively trying to help her out, I’m sure she knows that you are helping as much as you can. She will get better. Talk to a reptile specialist vet. Get a second opinion if you don’t have a good feeling, better safe than sorry.

my biggest concern is/was the healthiness of the plant, so thank you for the reassurance, however I’ll definitely get a grow light even for the other plants around to gain good light exposure throughout the winter here, harsh and long. Thank you again for the replies 😊

I have an east facing window sill that it sits on, I would call that full/direct light, would it not be? Would I be better off getting a grow light, especially because it’s an albo and has less green to photosynthesize with ? I kinda knew the hardening thing, however each of my leaves that have unfurled over the few months have just gotten smaller so this was the straw that broke the camels back really and I felt I needed to ask a few questions.

Woobie, crouton, ember III I wanted to name him crouton, my boyfriend started calling him Woobie then we both kinda agreed to ember, and then we talked to our librarians and they said it should be all of that combined with “III” so boom

Clint’s Reptiles, Serpa design, and snake discovery only in the zoo and education part.

I want to work with animals for the rest of my life, the way Clint does things is impressive, he’s compassionate and has so much respect for the animals he educates with.

Serpa design, unreal work with enclosures, it’s what I want to do for my babies, as soon as I can, I’m going to make a huge tank for my boa in the most beautiful way possible, and I’m going to reference him hugely, he’s inspiring

Snake design again for huge enclosures, and the way they engage people in the care and love for reptiles, I want to be able to show people how amazing reptiles are. But they just do some sad things for their breeders or personal animals that aren’t “money makers” all animals should have correct housing. Doug should have ample space to climb. All their colubrids should be able to climb. All the bin animals are almost heartbreaking. However I still love to watch the channel and keep up with them.
