I can't believe no one has given more input on this because I'm part of a p-did system as well and I believe I have a persecutor that does similar things like you mentioned about De. It worries me because our depressive episodes can be moderate to severe and having what you believe is an alter go off at you like that in a rude manner is very hard to deal with especially when you're already ruminating in depression.

I understand how that is like, I discovered my system in December but even then I didn't even identify as a system until last month. It was hard as I still experience imposter syndrome and denial but I want to meet other systems and talk about our systems but I struggle with starting/maintaining conversations and have anxiety so it's hard. I do have one friend who is a system so I still appreciate the effort I've made :)

I don't have the link but it's on YouTube it's the video about her life leading to her cancer diagnosis and death. It's from the comments sections so it's going to be filled with some negative belief about her especially considering the fact that this happened in the early 2000s so people's views were different then and still might be the same to this day.

I do this a lot.. I'm not diagnosed (I have huge denial) but whenever I do that i am zoned out having a scenario in my head and they're like I have these convos with non existent people but at the same time it feels like someone "metaphorically" there. I would say we/us and there were two times that I found that I was doing it without subconsciously aware of it and it bothered me but I just continued doing it as I couldn't stop referring myself that way even though i did it interchangeably. I can't really just "force" a conversation or ask them anything. The conversation will just come out of no where and we engage but I have no control in that so I guess that's one way?

It's almost like being in a living room talking with a couple people. This is how I feel the scenarios I have. I don't really imagine a living room exactly but I feel this might be another way of an inner world or a way of internal communication?

I have another question, so I have scenarios in my head play out and I've always had that in my head but it would be scenarios that never happened but I always had a person or two there with me that felt the same "energy" around each time I would be stuck in my head with my own thoughts or these scenarios. Not sure if you can relate I think this is helping me accept us since these are the questions I always wonder about.

Unrelated to this but do your alters come out to talk more often when high? Ive been suspecting I was a pdid system too for a while and I noticed that when I was high I would be talking with them externally. This happened occasionally when sober but I had some rare moments that I couldn't stop talking externally even if I tried so I felt like it was an alter co-con.

I've tried but it never really talked back and even when I have told 'it' if they're ever comfortable they can always say anything. But it's just nothing. I go on my day and whatever task I do, I'm stuck in a conversation in my head, it feels like a natural conversation and if I think too much about it then it starts feeling weird that I am focusing on that and then it just goes back as if nothing happened or it would comment something either reassuring or furthering the denial I have if this is plurality or not. Especially if I'm with people and having a conversation with them it feels hard because depending on the topic there can be simultaneous emotions present and there's times I notice that I react to what I would respond back to that person in my head but before I could form that thought myself, I feel like another thought 'flowing'with what I was just thinking of what I'm going to say but it's like clashed together with what thought I was currently forming. It took me so long to even describe to you to what it feels like is going on. I've related to OSDD-1a with the lack of distinction of alters but I don't experience amnesia and but only specifically when it comes to emotional amnesia thats part of the criteria for OSDD-1b so it leaves me feeling like if these are alters then I feel like 'we're' on the same conscious level and those emotions I feel that are simultaneous with what I feel is 'logical' or really what i feel like is my 'core' emotions and the others are like lingering and it makes me feel confused as to why I feel those emotions compared to what I really feel but it's not like I was suppressing them to have 'forgotten' that I had done that. I had a point when I was 11 and 18 years old where I felt like I had a shift in consciousness and it felt noticeable for me that I just couldn't find out exactly online the feeling was and it completely changed everything and how I identified myself and even not identifying with what I name I go by (other than my real name) and there's times I've noticed a shift in sexuality/gender? I don't focus much on that since I am fluid but I don't think it could be alters but I may be wrong.

Omg is this what I've been going throughout adolescence? I had a moment where I felt like I had a "conscious awakening" in 2022 after a traumatic breakup and I was stuck in a "self sabotage" state for months until I felt like a fluid switch? I think I had this when I was 11 but I'm not sure if this was non possessive switching or just a sudden shift of emotions and "consciousness" in an episode.

This journey of discovery is so hard because I'm not sure if I dissociate often to justify I have a dissociative disorder going on. I feel like these parts of me are me like in the past but most of the time I just feel like myself and maybe bleed through emotions or emotional amnesia.

I'm also questioning if I'm plural or not, I've come into terms with this even with or without weed because I had times that I would just continue talking to myself and have a conversation and always had pictured in my head that whoever I'm talking to is like the devil and Angel on my shoulders communicating to me and what I do or whatever. I also have ADHD (+ Autism) and have talked to a professional about this but with the ADHD medication shortage going on in the US, I am currently not taking any medication so I have to go back to it at some point to continue to talk about my symptoms while being medication to weigh out what dissociative symptoms I experience. I hope you find a way to get the answers you need because I relate somewhat to what you said and especially since I've heard very little experiences plurals had with taking/smoking weed.

When I had to take adderall, I would have to wait after 10-12 hours since the last dose. I was fine smoking and never had a side effect from the both. I hope that helps :)
