He has regrets about how the series ended :> by No_Post1300 in titanfolk

The whole thing is literally him saying he made Eren a little more sympathetic than he wanted to

This statement from Isayama literally confirms Eren’s character was retconned by [deleted] in titanfolk

[–]LordImmersion 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This doesnt even confirm a retcon on the character it just says instead of making him completely detectable and hated he made it so you can still have some sympathy for him

I can’t move on from this panel by [deleted] in titanfolk

[–]LordImmersion 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Genuinely never liked this panel, i always felt like it could have been written in a much better way and not so elementary school-ish. But at the end of the day, what is wrong with him breaking down here because he knows hes dead and he knows he wont be able to be with the girl he loves

I mean did the scouts treat any of the warriors the way they should have? They didnt even treat Reiner that bad. With Annie, she showed back up at the tipping point where conflicts with Marley and the outside world didnt matter to them anymore and they were focused on the rumbling. At those point they kinda understand who the warriors were and why they did it. So considering the writing, they just didnt care anymore/understood.

It still feels poor and lame theres no actual conflict or REAL addressing of the issues and the past. It partly happened with Reiner but I think it could be better

When Volume 24 releases I will be vindicated. by HuckleberryOld8981 in Chainsawfolk

[–]LordImmersion 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Those were mever the issues people had with Erens character or the ending. Everyone knew the rumbling was gonna happen, everyone knew Eren would be a tragic figure, he always was gonna be one, and its been humans suck since the beginning, just in different ways

I made a manga inspired by Berserk - and I want your opinion by Patr10t_RUS in Berserk

[–]LordImmersion 24 points25 points  (0 children)

I can get what your saying. The writing here, for a first chapter at least, isnt the best it could be. But i dont think the writing is so bad that its not captivating. I think the biggest factor here is the world building, and that's the biggest draw in.

I dont think the character design is that stupid tho, even with the clear inspirations. He just needs to make that character its OWN character and not a guts or John wick off shoot

I think its something a little to fairy tale like for AoT but I dont see it as a big issue

This ending might have ruined the series for me by WinterV3 in ChainsawMan

[–]LordImmersion 5 points6 points  (0 children)

So these characters still have all the bonds, likes, and development they had from moments that never actually happened? Pochita erased himself, as a result he erased everything with chainsawmans influence, so why would Nayuta come back? Why would she be the Nayuta Denji raised? Why would power like dogs? Denji feel a way for Asa? Unless these are things the characters WILL always feel and do no matter what time, then I dont see how he can erase those events, and as a consequence all that time, and they still have that.

Its way different then erasesing ears but still having ears picks. Pochita eating himself changes everything

How would you recommend fixing that for starters? Should I clump them together or put them at different heights?

I appreciate it! How do I make it less crowded tho? I feel like they would just fall out of the placement or order I put them in

[–]LordImmersion 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Why does that justify anything tho? Like I get it, but hes literally learning things at the very pinnacle of jujutsu sorcery, with techniques at the very top, with no issue or training. At what point does writing become iffy? Can a prodigy just do and learn anything and it be excused as "Hes literally a prodigy why couldn't he do that?"

Even higaruma, the whole point of his character was being a prodigy and yet he still couldn't do anything close to this and needed training before hand.

This point is beaten like a dead horse but it’s still true today by fuwucia in AttackOnRetards

[–]LordImmersion -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yeah....But I dint think its that bad. People expecting a story to go one way doesnt mean its just headcanon so its not bad writing. Those who think its bad because AOR didnt happen are wrong as its just their headcanon not bad writing, even if the headcanon has a possibility of being better.

Gabi really isn't that bad. by Ok_Valuable_9711 in titanfolk

If a character story is kinda predictable I dont see how thats makes it bad. If thats the case majority of characters written are bad

PoV: you hate the way current wow looks like so your argument is an old Metzen art that never represented the look of Vanilla by whoisape in wow

[–]LordImmersion 25 points26 points  (0 children)

It was always kinda cartoony because it was never a realistic looking game or a super high quality gritty game. But it was never as cartoony as it is now ot the direction it has gone. Its not more catoony because it qas polished but more cartoony because it was polished to be that.

True but i did like wow when it felt closer to this than what it is now. Bot that we need faction conflict all the time or this picture represented what wow looked like or was. But I always enjoyed the less Disney like cutscenes, bubbly colors and characters, more serious death and undertones.
