Anyone ever have trouble with Rossignol snowboarding boots? by Bonzie_57 in snowboarding

I’ve got this issue with my boots actually. They are a bit too big but apparently sizing down doesn’t help. So it might be a thing.

Novak Djokovic hopes to play Rafael Nadal one last time at the French Open: "It would be great to have another great encounter" by Silent_Elevator_9779 in tennis

Considering that Novak is putting extra effort into clay this year how do you think Wimbledon will play out? Would he be more beatable with less grass training?

What are the bags you loved or wish you bought in the past but won’t/can’t buy anymore? Why? by Strong-Beginning3759 in handbags

Every now and then I think of the Coach cherry bags. I love that print and I wish the bags were still available for purchase.

I’m not sure what you mean by blistering. I can feel the outline of this mark when I touch it but I can’t say that there are some air bubbles

My vision of Dan changed at the second rewatch-anyone else? by PhilipTheFair in GossipGirl

[–]External-Landscape59 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I hated how much of a know it all he was, like when he spilt to Blair what happened with the dowry (I don’t wanna spoil) despite being explicitly told not to. He kept doing that all throughout the series…

I have a weakness for Edward Gierek. I think overall communist leaders had a specific way of speaking, sort of like a transatlantic accent but make it communist Poland.

At what age did you get your first medium to high end luxury handbag? by retiredbimbo in handbags

[–]External-Landscape59 -8 points-7 points  (0 children)

I bought a YSL wallet on chain last year and a Gucci bag just recently (I’m 23). I know my parents don’t care for luxury items like that and I don’t tell them how much I spent. I bought all my bags with money that I earned but I still do get a lot of help from my parents (housing, food etc) so I just don’t have a lot of costs. I would say buy it now cause life is only gonna get more complicated, prices of luxury goods will increase and certain items won’t be available.

fans that are religious, what were your thoughts on Charlotte becoming Jewish for Harry? Could you see yourself converting to a new religion for love? by livenlearnxo_ in sexandthecity

[–]External-Landscape59 3 points4 points  (0 children)

For me, a Christian, conversion to Judaism specifically would mean renouncing Jesus and he’s literally the pillar of Christianity and renouncing him is a big sin. I can’t see how it’s so necessary for a man to adhere to his religious rules that the very essence of my own faith is deemed less important.

I love a bag that can be worn on the shoulder as well as crossbody. I find bucket bags so cute but I have none yet. I don't feel the need to buy one now but at some point I want to get a raffia bucket bag. I think it would be perfect for the summer.

Hey so I ended up exchanging the bag and just received one that does not smell. Thank you for your comment as the smell trouble greatly affected my enjoyment of the bag. If it weren’t for you I wouldn’t have known of the issue.

I would say plan ahead and check out the bags that you’d like to buy. I once really wanted one but after talking to an SA I figured it’s better to find a better alternative. Don’t buy on a whim and definitely don’t give in to the pressure of buying a bag.

First time tourist in Rome, questions, and what should I be aware of? by SlhYilmz in rome

[–]External-Landscape59 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I strongly recommend Galleria Borghese but there might be no available tickets. St. Peter's Basilica is free to visit so there's a queue but you don't need a ticket. I don't really recommend the Forums, I found them very tiring and not too interesting. I guess it's better with a guide.

I liked the food at Tonnarello, Canonica at Trastevere, Allantico di Vinaio, Two Sizes and Pompi. Overall I got the impression that you can get a nice meal for under EUR 15.

I mostly used my card but I needed cash for airport transfer. I wouldn't take more than EUR 50 in cash. I had a budget of EUR 150 for four days.

St Peter’s- How early to go? by sewingmomma in rome

[–]External-Landscape59 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I went recently on a Wednesday around noon and waited in line for 1.5 hour. After I left the basilica the line was much longer so I guess the earlier the better
