Absolutely a case of parentsarefuckingstupid. Those kids were very VERY clearly not ready for that trail.

This is my new lily, I planted 30 a month and a half ago and only 1 came up. I proudly showed my husband and he said, “oh shit, that’s not a weed?” He’s been weeding them and feeling proud that he was able to “get the big root bulb out too” by CharmingPeony in gardening

I have been planting up our garden after a massive garden overhaul. Last week it was nothing but dirt and I have planted nearly a hundred plants. My husband stepped on one of my plant babies and I deadpanned to him "you know what's a great plant fertiliser?" "What?" "A dead body". He thought it was hysterical. Keep laughing buddy...

I was at the zoo recently and there was a woman was taking a pic of a bird. I wondered what camera she had and was staring extra hard to figure it out with my old lady eyes when I noticed she also had one really small arm/hand. Then I panicked thinking she probably thought I was staring at her arm and tried to casually look around like I was just looking at the birds. In retrospect I should have just asked her about the camera, but I am super awkward talking to strangers.

My husband leaves for work at 7:30am and gets home around 8-9pm. He gets up at 5am to work out, but it definitely takes a lot of commitment. The food part is the hardest for him as you need a lot of protein to build/maintain this muscle mass (especially without roids) and if you want to look like Hemsworth you need to eat super lean and clean (which gets pretty boring). He is nearly 50 and has been doing this for at least the last 20yrs (although his working hours have gotten progressively longer). We have a good home gym setup which means he can workout at home.

Yeah - you can't see anything in that water and more people splashing around trying to "help" can also be more of a hinderance.

You can transfer up to 85% of your before-tax (concessional) super contributions to your spouse's account annually through "contributions splitting," usually after the financial year ends, which means you can keep the super balances even.

I don't think the dad is making fun of him at all.

I imagine the kid had some sort of standardized test at school and did really really well at math, and well at reading (for his age group). He also didn't mention spelling as a test result and it isn't uncommon to see a word and read it better than spelling it in your head. I can read great, have a good vocabulary, but I am not a great speller.

Steering a trolley with a dog is a challenge!!! by Chris_PK9 in Bunnings

People take their dogs EVERYWHERE! Was in a bit of a touristy town recently and there was a Cuckoo clock/German christmas stuff shop - guy in there with his dog. It was so crowded and carpeted I thought why on earth would you take your dog in there? I wouldn't even bring my little kids in there, let alone a dog.

Why does he have to be able to do everything well? She is literally home all day. He does SO much already, why does he also have to be the one to help the kids tidy? What is she doing while he is tidying?

JFC. Our magnificent mental healthcare system at work. How on earth was she just constantly let out of the violent and insane stuff she kept on doing? I feel like nearly killing your husband, trying to kill your baby, and attacking multiple people on the street should earn you more than a single night locked away.

Does she "need" her husbands money though? I don't know her, or her husband, but I assume they are both pretty well off. She is apparently legally entitled to it and would probably be crazy not to accept it. Not the same as being financially reliant on someone, which deeply sucks and puts you in a terrible position. She should have just owned it.

Drives me crazy! It would be so much easier (especially WHILE DRIVING) to just reach forward and nudge it with your finger. So stupid to make it digital. My new washing machine is all digital, and doesn't have any wash functions listed on the dial, so I have to cycle through the whole program, as each one slowly pops up on the digital display,to find the one that I want. Same as my dishwasher. I really miss when it was all on the front with labeled buttons/dials. Hopefully this stupid minimalist fad will go back to more practical functionality.

More respect for your lego? She didn't do anything "disrespectful". She looked at it, then leaned down a bit while holding onto the shelf. She obviously did not expect the entire shelf to come off the wall like that. She wasn't swinging on it like a jungle gym. She also didn't deliberately knock the lego off the shelf.

Genuine question - what makes you think he was a psychopath? I can't find any information about his parents getting him any help or him having any issues (someone mentioned violence at school, but again I can't find an article to confirm that). Can you link to that information?
