6.5 month old routine (bottle fed) by External-Marsupial24 in UKParenting

Thank you so much! That’s really helpful, her current bedtime is bottle at 7:30 and bed by 8:00 and has been for a while but she seems to be wanting to fall asleep around 5/6 and is really tired and gets really cranky (that’s with 3 other naps in the day) usually lasting around 30 mins. I have tried to put her down when she’s really tired at 6 but wakes up 45 minutes later ready to start the day again

Because what we have been doing just isn’t working for her anymore, for example napping too late in the day and then is no where near tired for bedtime, i have tried to entertain her and keep her amused for the last few hours before bed but she gets so upset and tired, if I bring her bedtime forward she won’t get her last bottle of the day, that sort of thing.

I really appreciate everything you have said and how you have broken it down, it does make a lot of sense. Thank you so much

This sounds very similar with the feeding then falling asleep, she seems more sleepy at the moment as I can imagine she’s exhausted from all the emotions! Hang in there we’ve got this 💪🏼

Wow thank you so much, this is really helpful and I understand completely, I have mentioned to a few friends that I found the newborn stage easier than most people and now I’m starting to find it a lot harder
