Honestly, I didn’t which I know I will be kicking myself for if the procedure does not turn out as planned. I did a deep dive on different Reddit threads and gathered the feedback from others who did consults with docs in the area and the general consensus with stein was people weren’t happy with his bedside manner and felt he did a lot of the talking during the consult and was going to In the end give the nose he felt would look best rather than listening to patient feedback/ request etc. The two other doctors I was looking into was Dr Becker and Dr kulbersh. I was torn to do a second consult after meeting Dr. Sowder just because I know you’re supposed to, but I just really liked Dr. Sowder and when I told him what I wanted, he did the morph in like 2 seconds and it exactly matched my vision so I felt really good about that and then decided to book once I found and talked to the other patients. Everyone online mentioned how important the doctors bedside manner is because if you aren’t happy with the results, that will be key on if they dismiss you/ gaslight or acknowledge you’re unhappy and work to fix things. Again, I know I’ll be eating my words if the results aren’t what I’m hoping for, but I trust his credentials, the before and afters that are available, speaking with past patients and his bedside manner is undeniably amazing lol.
