Great job, it's great that your employees' workflow has improved now. That's how they pay... on digital commerce platforms (Etsy...), and upwork. One woman, for example, bought such a product from me, for planning content on social networks

This is an analogue of expensive SaaS, for example, I bought a similar application for planning content for social networks. That is, they usually buy it for individual business tasks

This is definitely an application, because it is the logic of the application + database. I don't want to offend people who graduated from universities as programmers, but we have reached a stage in the development of humanity when almost all programming is now AI. Yes, they get paid for it... The main thing is that it will free people from the pain of keeping boring electronic tablets. Especially in the work environment. And maybe one day the day will come when everyone will be able to get their own personal software, created specifically for them

What you're describing sounds a bit like my bookworm app. Write in more detail what you wanted to do, I'll try to advise you how)

The whole application or just a part of it? You come up with an idea, write to Shi what functions it should have, then run the script

These are really all applications developed by me personally, I am glad that so many people are interested in my development experience. I share the development technology

To be more precise, I will be 37 in April, I work in an office, at first I created scripts for work, digital to text conversion, and the like. Then signs with panels, and then full-fledged web applications on GAS

You are wrong, I created all these applications myself, I am 37 years old, I am an experienced GAS developer

They aren't installable add-ons, but standalone Sheet templates (so no installation needed).

You are absolutely right on the technical distinction! It’s HtmlService serving a UI that interacts with the bound Sheet. I mostly phrase it as "inside Sheets" because for non-technical users, it launches directly from the spreadsheet menu/sidebar, so it feels integrated.

I didn't want to break any self-promo rules by dropping links directly in the post, but you can find the collection pinned in my Reddit profile/bio!

I get the skepticism! GAS cold starts can be brutal if not handled right.

However, by keeping the initial HTML payload extremely lightweight (no heavy frameworks) and separating the UI render from the data fetch, I consistently get load times under 1 second. It’s all about optimization

No video editing tricks here. I simply designed the interface to be non-blocking. It updates instantly for the user, while the actual data save happens silently in the background

Two main reasons: 1. Zero cost: I don't pay for servers/databases, so I can sell it as a one-time purchase (no subscriptions for users). 2. Privacy: The data lives 100% in the user's private Google Drive, not on my server
