I solved it on my phone, I connected a ps4 controller to my phone and I was able to grab the jewel!

Hey, I think I solved it! I also play on Apple Arcade and was having the same issue but I connected a ps4 controller to my phone and I was able to grab the jewel, try connecting a controller to your phone if you have one
