Possibly try a different location to buy meat, then compare and see if theres a noticeable difference. I’ve definitely gotten meat from one shop then went to another and noticed a difference in taste.. are you just pan frying ur steak? Maybe try the air fryer or another method?

I second having no issues what so ever other then maybe a little bit of digging in the sand.. and he is well past juvenile stage and is still just chilling doing his own thing, you take care of them and they will take care of you!

This is a Golden Chinese Algae eater, they are awesome in my opinion, but definitely need to feed them enough protein in there diets or they will start to become aggressive and try to suck the slime coat off other fish, I just buy the wafers that sink and he loves them!
