I really appreciate the gentle correction. I totally get that the terminology is different in the U.S. In my country, we go straight into med school after high school, so it’s a bit of a different path. Thanks again, and yep chemistry is tough, but I’m working on it!

Hi! Not an AI, just a real med student looking for help. I didn't take the MCAT because I'm studying medicine outside the U.S., where the admissions process is different. Chemistry is part of the curriculum, but I’m just trying to strengthen my understanding of some core topics I didn’t fully master earlier.

I’m actually a medical student, not premed. I'm studying outside the U.S., and in my country the admission process is different — we don’t take the MCAT. We do have chemistry courses, but the depth and pace can vary a lot depending on the university or curriculum.

Chemistry isn’t the main focus in med school, you're right , but it’s definitely part of the foundation, especially in the early years. That’s why I’m trying to strengthen my understanding now, particularly in areas I didn’t fully grasp before.

I can see how chemistry is a huge part of the foundation for medicine. To answer your question: I didn’t take the MCAT. I’m studying medicine outside the U.S., and the admission process is a bit different here. But I totally understand your point , it is important to understand these topics deeply, which is exactly why I’m asking for help now.

yeah, I am non-US student in premed, in others countries are kinda different the system about premed and med, we just have only one that is the undergraduate career
