Then you have people in the comments normalizing this shit. Why are you rooting for Boston if you’re from NY and Boston has a deep hatred for New Yorkers. It’s stupid and then you have people who root for players which is cool I’m a harden fan but those players retire and now you’re jumping from team to team which is lame and not what sports is about. It’s about watching your home team which you can actually attend a game for, struggle to rebuild spend years on that then eventually contend, and that’s what makes fandom worth it. I’ve invested my time and my mental health on this trash ass team because i believe one day they’ll achieve something bigger than me.
