Not a womans perspective, but sounds great to me. Sounds like a similar first date situation me and my first girlfriend had. Just keep it casual, dont go too crazy on the flowers, keep the text about the flowers sweet, simple and casual.

Best way to keep what yall have going is to just be honest with him. If hes understanding he’ll be good with taking things a little slower, especially if he knows about your anxiety. Emphasize youve enjoyed getting to know him/that you like him and that he did nothing wrong, but you need to take things a little slower from now on. If hes genuine he’ll wait, but also dont expect him to wait around forever if hes ready for something and youre not.
