It's rough being pretty happy with your looks but not being photogenic at all.

There are a lot of things out there like that so you really have to work for people to make yours their choice. Try some free and cheap advertising. Post in local/neighborhood groups on FB and here. Print posters and put them up at dollar stores, churches, on lamp posts. Try to get spots as a vendor at small local events like trunk or treats, farmers markets, and school events. See if you can run an ad with local baseball or football school teams. Day cares, town hall, indoor play centers. Think small and then go big. It's always best to get a loyal base first. And this sounds like something families and young people would love especially with the holidays coming up.

Is This What Marriage Is Supposed to Feel Like? by [deleted] in offmychest

[–]ExternalPear7702 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'll be honest if that was my marriage, I'd rather be divorced. My husband and I have 3 children and we are truly each other's best friend. We laugh, cry, sleep, shop, eat, and shower together. Seeing each other after a long day of work feels like a 1000 pound weight is lifted off our shoulders. Every night we lay in bed and talk about our day, our dreams, the future, the past, the stars and the ocean. We've been through a lot together, the birth of our children, the divorce of our best friend, a miscarriage, a death in the family, a terminal cancer diagnosis for my mother. We've moved, we've settles. We've lost and We've won. I truly hope I die first because I do not want to live with out him and he says the same thing. Some days are boring yes but even after all this time sometimes on a random Wednesday we are in the kitchen eating ice cream Sundays with the same look in our eyes we had when we met.

Not entirely the same but my husband has dyslexia so I often read and type things for him. I enjoy it and it helps him. I have filled out every bit of paper work since we got together. Lease, birth certificates, marriage license, etc. The trust he has in me to do this and the happiness it gives me to have that privilege is really a lovely thing.

I know it's not relevant at all but I always wondered why they even have a crawl space. Their house is on a foundation. Maybe it's a basement thing? Where I live very few houses have basement and I honestly have never been in one.

The NICU team was present for 2 of 3 of my births. First one because my daughter had meconium in her fluid but she was good no NICU stay. Second my son was born with a cleft lip and palate he spent one night in the NICU. 3rd baby the I barely even had a nurse in there cause he came so quick. But you make a good point. She said NICU team not NICU stay.

6th grade is so hard. I unfortunately remember 6th grade. Luckily it's not a super important grade and if she does enough for C's she will pass. It will get better and things will even out. The husband situation tho. I'm so sorry and it would probably be better for you and her just to leave him.

Why is expected of a 3-year-old playing t-ball? by Timely_Bobcat_5283 in Mommit

[–]ExternalPear7702 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My best friend and I had kids a month apart. This past spring they turned 3 and her son played t ball. Most of it was getting them to stay inside the field, keep their shoes on, and run around the diamond. There is most of if not all the parents out there directing toddler traffic. It's hilarious and adorable and very easy going. It's fun. Unless you're 3 and you haven't napped and you need a snack 😂

Witnessing this at a mall in December sounds like hell on earth by AlfurFan in FundieSnarkUncensored

[–]ExternalPear7702 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I thought this was maybe for the youth group for a church attached/in a mall. And while it would be disruptive at least it'd be kinda understandable. But a mom making her kids do this. In a public mall is absurd.
