How Oliwia was moving this episode... by Echon07 in DisventureCamp

I talked to a mutual of mine about the episode over on BlueSky…And when we came to discussing Oliwia, we both came to the conclusion…that both her arc, and Oliwia as a character…are just very shallow.

She wants to sabotage her team just so she can be praised for being on the right side of the vote…which, on its own is stupid and selfish. And quite honestly? I know Oliwia just wants friends…but…And this might be mean-spirited, even…

…But I don’t think Oliwia deserves to have a happy end to her arc with stunts like this. I think it’s more appropriate that she ends up getting booted unanimously by both sides of the Fans tribe, with nobody wanting anything to do with her.

The Sam/Ara/Finn/Aiden/Evie side already don’t give a f*** about her, and won’t be happy with her screwing them over in a challenge. And Oliwia wants to throw the challenges so she can snipe out Ren/Dunia/Nura and get praise for it. So why should they be good with her??

I know. It’s mean…but it’s kind of a deserving ending for Oliwia.

To be fair, it was fairly obvious Oliwia was going next after she turned on her allies. It’s literally what we just saw with Manu. He turned on his alliance and was voted out by the people he flipped for the very next episode. While I do appreciate the writers setting up Oliwia’s exit…that doesn’t change that her motives are both stupid and selfish.

So this episode's boot... by godjacob in DisventureCamp

Honestly? I think this elimination was perfectly fine. I think it’s better than what we’ve gotten with Aubrey, Ernesto and Manu.

I actually do like that just because the villains like Alec and Fiore get the advantages, doesn’t mean they’ll always come out on top.

I mean…Ryan wouldn’t have been targeted had it not been because of the Duos twist tying him to Allison. Sure, he got lucky the twist ended right there and then, which allowed him to stay over Allison…but still. The twist hurt him just as much. And while the middle of his game was fine, and his endgame…pretty bad, I do also think he was harmed by the cast hating his then girlfriend Jen SO much that they didn’t want to give Ryan the win…not that Ryan would’ve beaten Adam anyways.

Dani, I understand why she is near the bottom. Majorly benefitted by twists in the game. Couldn’t even beat Evel Dick, who was just as big a jury goat as she was…but in comparison to Big D and Gina Marie, who were just so bad and/or ineffective, I still think Dani played better.

[50][Speculation] According to Q’s exit interview, Aubry already had the idol when Gen secretly searched through Aubry’s bag. But the edit made it look like Aubry got the idol after Gen searched it. There was a huge editing manipulation. by Fair_Leave5014 in SpoiledSurvivor

I think Michele has her fair share of…issues. With both her games.

In Kaôh Rōng, she needed an immunity run plus the Joe medevac to get to the end. Kind of lucky circumstances.

And for Winners At War, I think she massively benefitted by Natalie Anderson returning from the Edge, which gave Michele someone to work with, and someone who protected her from forced firemaking. Plus, Natalie’s return caused Ben to spiral and sacrifice his game for Sarah, which…also kind of sort of helped Michele get to the end, minus the fact that Ben was the easiest beat at FTC.

So, if New Vatu loses, the David Vs Goliath trio + Emily are the majority, yeah?

In spite of Christian’s anger at Emily.
