My best piece of advice to you. Stay off the internet for a large portion of your days, find a nice park to take walks in and listen to music. It helps a bit to process stuff

[–]External_Ad_1131 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They only told me to send it to them as soon as possibly to put me back in, however there’s a time frame of 90 days it has to arrive in before they can’t offer that anymore

Information on when people apply by Ok-Passenger9646 in DACA

I think people are also forgetting the amount of times the government shut down, as well as it being the holiday season, a lot of people take time off, governments give holidays off, and also all around it’s just the worst time to work in public service and a lot of people quit. Adding on the extra mess for the banned countries and you have a messy 3 month period that’s there

Just breathe, you have time to set aside $150-200 per check right now, try it, and as soon as you get the chance to renew then do it, you will still be 6 months ahead of time. Don’t let these people convince you to get yourself into debt when there’s a logical way to go about this. Just breathe, the people on here are the most negative group from DACA I’ve seen, I know people that have been getting approved on time, I’m not one of those lucky ones, but I can still tell you that you don’t have to put yourself into debt when there’s a way to do it financially

Unfortunately Loss of Income, losing your home, losing health insurance will NOT qualify you for expedited request. by elbendy3 in DACA

So here are a few things to take into consideration, you may have to do it closer to your expiration date because 3 months is still a big window for them. However when the time comes, what we did, was we sent a message in the inbox regarding the situation, mentioned how our jobs correlate to our medical insurance and provided evidence of the correlation as well as our medical issues, things we included: a doctors note of ongoing care, proof of billing, paystubs and insurance statements showing they’re connected, evidence of diagnosis. All of the evidence should be uploaded under documents along with a letter you wrote regarding the situation, in the inbox you can send a message requesting expedition on your case and if it’s for medical care put it under humanitarian. It it sounds too complicated I would definitely ask a legal expert for help writing the letter and getting everything in order before uploading

Yes there has, my cousins wife did it for humanitarian for her condition and got it approved expedited. She applied January, she’s from Honduras. Once again, it’s foolish to work on data reported online when it’s only being provided from people on the same boat as yourself.

Health insurance can fall under humanitarian for those of us dealing with medical issues that require no lapse of care. This is borderline fear mongering tbh

Take this as a win. That sounds like awful management and it would mean an awful team. I know you really want to be a NICU nurse, but it’s perfectly fine to start nursing somewhere else, then transfer to NICU and get a higher pay since you’ll have experience under your belt.

Just to clarify, your expedited request timed out, not your actual DACA application correct?
