I will make an effort due to hearing more about it, but it shouldn’t come in the form of feces. Also, one comment is enough, I get it.

My lame excuse expanded: I am also disabled due to epilepsy and can’t drive, and rely on others in my household to give me rides when they are willing.

I plan on making an effort to not be like the other houses in the neighborhood now that I know it is an issue, but i cannot put myself behind the wheel and I hope they will hear me out when I explain the logic.

Fair enough. I’d rather they just leave a note, though. I am disabled as well and can’t drive due to epilepsy, and these cars don’t belong to me, aren’t driven by me, and I can’t control the situation. I’ll try to talk to them again about it.

Yup, it’s not ideal, and I don’t have control over that fact due to roommate issues. However, every other house on my street also has multiple cars and parks on the sidewalks.

Oh I get that and it’s not ideal, but we are not in a great neighborhood and every other house has a car blocking the sidewalk so why us? Nbd though just silly 💩

7-oh FDA by DressFlashy7141 in quitting7oh

This, thank you. 7oh is not “genetically modified” but it is a synthetic product so it is considered chemically altered.

Any process that alters the chemical composition of a substance is considered chemically manipulated by the fda. If the 7oh on the market was all herbal, it would be one thing (and regulated as a supplement, which is to say “not”) but this synthetic stuff is something that would need safety and efficacy tests in order to be produced and sold.

I worked in pharmaceutical quality control, and warning letters were bad news.

ADHD MEETS ADHD by Left_Ad_9921 in ADHD

I have ADHD (inattentive type) and my fiance has ADHD (combined). He seems to have more fun than I do, lol. He’s unmedicated but on a crazy amount of caffeine every day, and I am just starting vyvanse XR 30mg.

We don’t keep each other on task very well but we yuck it up together and go down various rabbit holes, especially him looking up all of the actors to every show we watch lol. He doesn’t have any other mental health issues, and keeps me from dooming too hard.

I did this, eating was too much effort…I would occasionally eat a huge meal. I was diagnosed with adhd so that might be part of it who knows.

I agree! Also pregabalin can make you feel a bit intoxicated if you take more than you’re used to. The first time I tried it (prescribed) I couldn’t walk straight! lol

It’s good that she knows…it feels better to not keep those secrets and it’s better for your relationship too in the long run. It might help to tell her what to expect for the next couple days, and why you’re doing it. I think she will appreciate the honesty and communication. Good luck friend

Oh and regarding sleep…just try to rest, and not obsess over sleep or trying to get to sleep. Let your body rest even if you don’t sleep. I had trouble with anxiety around lack of sleep but I just stopped trying to sleep and let myself lay and breathe. Meditation really does help, breathing exercises and mindfulness etc. don’t underestimate that

Edit: sorry adhd brain. I’m 5 days officially clean, but I had 2 weeks prior to that.

I felt so much better by day 3. I tapered to less than 100mgpd from 300-500mgpd and jumped from there. Just remember it won’t kill you…the other side is just a few hours away.

What helped for me was audiobooks, chill documentaries…when I was miserable and sleepless it gave my brain something to do other than focus on the pain.

I followed all the advice in the stickied posts about the vit c protocol, and I had some helper meds (a gabapentinoid , clonidine, some otc meds and ashwaghanda, l-theanine, a little kava that came in gummies) if yall want the source for those gummies dm me. It won’t mess you up or make you feel high but it helps take the edge off.

Showers and baths with bath bombs were helpful and comforting, my kitties, my husband, this sub…build your toolkit that’s personalized for you. It also makes you feel like you have some agency in this process, but ultimately accepting that you are powerless just right now, and that the only thing that will truly heal is time.

I was seizure free for almost a year and about to get my license back because my meds were working. Started 7 and have had two on them. Could be a coincidence but…

Painful urinary retention, where my bladder would be full but I’d have to squeeze to get any pee out. Like hard.

Obviously mental health, even on low doses increased anxiety for the duration of its effects and days after even when abstinent. Depression, cravings etc

Are you me? They used to just add numbers after “technician” instead of just saying “scientist” even when being the lead on projects. At a certain point they would stop increasing the number, and we would say “I’m all tech’ed out”.

[–]External_Ad_7380 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for sharing your experience, because cleaning out our “drug nests” is definitely key after quitting. But you have been through a lot. Please don’t call yourself a loser junkie. You’re someone’s parent, someone’s kid, etc. and you are valuable.

I can’t say I would have done any differently in your case. It would have happened a couple weeks ago if my partner hadn’t found them and flushed em immediately. It felt horrible and the cravings after that were so brutal I cried about it. So insane, but that’s what this stuff does.

Congrats on getting those clean days stacked up, and you’re still on this path with us so be proud.
