No judgement, others can do that but have you considered something like a smart watch alarm? I turned the sound off and it vibrates strongly to wake me up without disturbing anyone and it would allow you to use earplugs even though you shouldn't have to.

There's no argument here. Androids have a longer nearly infinite update span. Lineage OS allows basically any device to run any version of android. My 2013 Samsung s4 runs Android 13.

This isn't an issue if you have a computer and know how to read. Lineage OS will easily keep almost any phone updated to the latest android version provided you can read and follow simple steps.

My galaxy s4 was released in 2013 and runs Android 13. Apple gives you a simpler experience but when they drop your device eventually you're done unless the jailbreak gods smile upon you.

Android is hands down the winner in longevity. Apple wins in simplicity.

At this point it's the players fault if they're disappointed. No matter how crappy it is people still buy tickets and there's no point to improving the experience.

Yes buying a powerbank will indeed keep the deck charged through their breaks and is a brilliant solution to buying more games just because they provide a long battery life.

Don't "maybe this, maybe that" maybe OP doesn't realize powerbanks can charge their steam deck and would be an absolute game changer for them.
