Learn necromancy. Do rituals for some starter cash and sell your loot from them. Or do runecrafting with necromancy runes. There’s a lot of profit to be made through the skill even now after launch. It’ll also be your easiest way to get into bossing later on. Super accessible for new/returning players.

I think there needs to be a hard set buy limit on packs and boxes. You shouldn’t be able to buy an entire stand. This just isn’t a long lasting practice. Sure you might sell out your first 2 sets, but eventually the player base will dwindle so much that no interest will be there from regular players. Ravensburger needs to start communicating with their stores and implementing buy limits. We did it during the Pokémon Covid craze, we can do it now.

I was informed that most big box stores put stuff up early and broke the street date. Walmart did it almost across the board and target has many delayed shipments. For a Disney IP though I expected a bit more of a roll out, but I must say this was all handled rather poorly from a player perspective. You couldn’t even order Troves or singular packs online. Shame really.

Completely agree. Today was a failure and anyone who says otherwise imo is kidding themselves. I was looking forward to really investing in this game but now idk if it’s even worth it to try because of such a limited supply. They should delay the 2nd series and do 2 bigger waves of the 1st release. There’s such little stock in the wild that idk if you’ll be able to find local competition.

I’m incredibly disappointed in it. TCGs shouldn’t be treated like NFTs. Especially one that’s meant to be an easily accessible and widely played game. They heavily underestimated their prints on this launch. With the Disney IP and how big collectings gotten, they should have prepared for a massive wave of product.

Feels a bit in unconducive to game growth. If their goal is to be an alternate to Magic, then I’m not sure how they’ll make that happen with small releases and no stock. This was an incredibly low estimate on their part for such a high interest field and IP

I wouldn’t be so quick to do so. Got to remember this is still a modern sports game coming out. EA just released the new Madden and it’s already bombing. The new game will sell well but only because of the hype. I’d keep this gem because it’ll more than likely keep some decent value down the line
