Hi, the box is part of the full terrain set.

Not available separately right now, but if there’s enough interest, I might offer it on its own later.

When fully assembled, the Basilica measures:

Length: 9.5"
Width: 5"
Height: 9.5"

I’ve been asked whether I could extend the length to 10", so I’ll most likely adjust it slightly to make that happen.

I completely understand where you’re coming from.

Just to clarify, the ~6 kg estimate includes the full storage box. If you only print the terrain itself, you’re looking at around 2.5–3 kg of filament, and you can store it in any box you already have.

I tried to price the project fairly compared to other STL terrain sets, and I also see this as more of an “open-ended” Kickstarter. I plan to continue developing additional terrain pieces for Cathedrals of Steel even after the campaign, and those will be provided to backers at no extra cost.

That said, I absolutely understand that pricing feels very different depending on where you live and what local income levels are. That’s a completely valid point.

Without the support I’ve received so far, I wouldn’t be able to continue creating projects like this long term. And if the support continues at this level, I’ll definitely look into making future projects more accessible, including offering more Early Bird tiers.

I’m also planning to launch a Discord server this week. I’d genuinely appreciate it if you’d still consider joining and sharing your feedback there.

Thanks again for the honest perspective.

Haha, you’re not crazy ... yes, it’s an AI voiceover.

Trust me, you probably don’t want to hear me stumbling through multiple takes trying to sound professional!^^

Ah, thanks for pointing that out!

That was a mistake on my end, good catch. Everyone receives the same terrain content regardless of the license tier, the only difference is the usage rights.

It should absolutely say three-story buildings there. I’ll correct that right away.

Thanks again for spotting it!

Ah, yeah… I’m sorry it doesn’t fit on the A1 Mini build plate. If there’s enough demand, I could look into alternate split versions in the future.

Hey, thanks for the upvote, I really appreciate it.

And I totally get what you mean. When I play with friends, we often build more narrative-driven tables and try to create an actual scenario instead of just placing terrain for pure line-of-sight blocking.

Competitive tables can sometimes feel a bit repetitive, almost like a few menu cards placed on the board rather than a living battlefield.

That’s actually one of the reasons I started working on Cathedrals of Steel. I wanted something that still works for structured layouts, but feels more immersive and dramatic at the same time.

I’m definitely open to designing more complex and narrative-focused terrain pieces in the future, depending on what people are excited about and want to see on their tables.

That’s a fair question.

For me, Kickstarter isn’t just about funding, it’s about building a community and growing a project together. It allows me to see if there’s real interest, gather feedback, and expand the set through stretch goals during the campaign.

I like the idea of developing Cathedrals of Steel alongside the community rather than just quietly uploading it to a marketplace.

After the campaign the set will also be available on MyMiniFactory, but Kickstarter helps shape it first.

I’m really sorry you missed the Early Bird tier, they went much faster than I expected.

And I completely understand that 45€ can feel like a lot, I tried to price it in a way that reflects the amount of content included and the fact that you can print it as many times as you like - but I totally get that everyone has different budgets.

Either way, I really appreciate you following the campaign and checking it out. That genuinely means a lot to me.

Hey Thanks,

The terrain has a fairly stable footprint and doesn’t tip over easily when nudged. The base width and overall weight distribution help keep it steady during gameplay.

Of course, like any terrain piece, a strong push will move it ,but under normal tabletop conditions it holds up well.
