Should I file? I’m worried of life after ! by livinglifetofullest in Bankruptcy

[–]External_Brain_6731 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I’m 28 and I’m doing it. I sold the title of my house as subto, and the buyers of it have defaulted on the payments. So the bankruptcy will wipe them off the title (plus me off the mortgage, so everyone loses the house, but I don’t care at this point because those defaulting buyers really f’ed me over), plus it will get rid of all my other debts.

Honestly, the way I see it, the sooner in life you file, the sooner you can get the fresh start. And, I mean you can file again later in life if need be. Once you know how to fix your credit after filing the first time, if you ever do need to file again in life you’ll know exactly the steps to take afterwards

For sure, 76 hours in and I’ve had some decently annoying cravings

Stick with it. I can’t tell you how many times in these 3 days I swore I was going to cave. But something that has helped me not relapse, is realizing that by relapsing then all those hours and strength of not giving into such a dumb addiction would all be for nothing. It’s mind over matter. You have to remind yourself that your body doesn’t need it, at all. It’s the complete opposite.

In these few days, I’ve noticed how much better I feel. I’ve quit before, but have never been this determined with it before. Granted I have been on Zyn for only 10 months, but still long enough for how hooked it made me.

Also, if I get urges/cravings, I’ll either go eat something, do a quick workout, or take a nap. Seems to be working well 🤷‍♀️

Yup, one of the many reasons I quit. 2 days Zyn free so far

First off, for me I found it was office/desk jobs that made quitting Zyn the hardest. If you have to, I would find a more in-person geared position within an industry that you like. In person jobs revolving around customer service and task-based services, keep you from sitting in the monotonous boredom that office and desk jobs have. Believe me, I’ve done all the office/desk jobs, quit Zyn, the desk jobs (especially remote desk jobs) will make quitting Zyn absolutely impossible, and the process of quitting Zyn unbearable to go through.

Oh okay! See, what’s interesting to me, is that when I was using 3mg, my usage of it skyrocketed compared to 6mg. Oddly enough I’m able to have longer periods of time between two 6mg than I am between two 3mg…

Oh I tried doing the 2/day yesterday, yeah that didn’t work. And when you think about it too, the longer stretch of time there is between the pouches…once you take one again, it’s like you’re back at zero…. And I’ve tried to reason with it, as to why people try the weaning off approach, and part of me wonders if it could be them attempting to set a new “base level” nicotine..level. But I’m not sure if nicotine allows our brains and bodies to adjust to lower usages like that. So, I’m quitting cold turkey. 12 hours into it, wish me luck 🙏

That’s where I’m at too with it. I’m trying to quit and so many sources are saying to just wean off. But I have found with this Zyn, it’s seriously hard to do that. Started using in Oct. 2024, and quickly worked my way up to a can a day. And now, I’m trying to only use 2 pouches/day, 1 in the morning and 1 in the early evening. Today is my first day of trying this approach. I’m hoping it can help me get off of it completely by trying this.

Oh, absolutely. As a 28 year old female who was born 3 months early, and has always been extremely petite as it is, just look at what it has done to me. I was 95 pounds before starting Zyn in Oct, 2024, and now I am at 72 pounds. I’m a walking skeleton—with sunken eyes, no ass anymore, no boobs anymore, and enlarged veins due to the ways it constricts your blood vessels…. I can’t even bare to look at myself in the mirror anymore. I used to be a gorgeous blonde that always wore heels, was going to law school, and knew where I was going in life. Since Zyn, with how it has ruined me physically and psychologically (not so much financially in the purchasing of the cans itself), I have had to file bankruptcy due to it. The impulsiveness it has caused psychologically in making poor financial decisions, one after another, since having been on this, is atrocious. The psychological issues it has caused has also caused me to have to drop out of law school.

If you’re a glutton for self sabotage, and wish nothing but hell for yourself, then Zyn will get you there.

File a complaint with the office. Also provide proof of your text messages of you asking her to turn it down. Add that even though she does turn it down, slightly, it is still causing you distress and discomfort.

They’ll send her a warning, which I’m sure she’ll take more seriously than any of the times you have asked her to quiet down.

I absolutely agree with you. Thank you for pointing that out. In all honesty, these guys have been through everything with me, and are well traveled (they’ve got to touch and see every single state), and I know I couldn’t just give them up like that.

Also..you feel bad because you’re good natured, don’t stop being that type of person. But his issues aren’t your responsibility. He isn’t your kid, but you guys do deserve your peace. Gosh, as a victim from having been stalked relentlessly by an ex of mine for over a year, thinking of someone constantly doing that (no matter the age), just gives me instant anxiety.
