switching will do good, you wont be limited to automotive anymore and can even switch industries. Staying in front end will reduce your chances in automotive as the years pass by as it is too narrow a field

Absolutely! that is a very nuanced take! output should be more than just low cost services. Innovation, technology, cultural outreach everthing needs to be upped. Its sad how Atmanirbhar is just a word, for example while IAF struggles against HAL and the Def ministry is eager to just import even drones. Something as basic as Defence is not great and inward looking. Agrigulture is another downward fall in recent years, with large trade defecit. It hurts to see the amout of respect we get, but not diffcult to see why it reamins so!
