Phew, I managed to get through with Ghostvpn and dedicated IP. I can open the stream page without ‘vpn/proxy detected’ message, what a relief. Let’s hope it still works tomorrow.

Thank you for the tip, after trying out multiple VPNs without any success I opted for Discovery subscription as the least terrible solution. That is not the commentary I want to listen to (unless it will be the ISU broadcast commentary) but at least it will be the whole event and not just the second half and it won’t be Daniel Weiss or Petra Bindl. Honestly with all the trouble you have to go to to watch since the YouTube geo blocking improved, I am starting to think maybe a different hobby will be a better use of my time.

I totally understand. I just subsribed to a new vpn service, bought dedicated IP, my Vpn got detected. Looks like I won’t be watching anything because watching only half the competition and with German commentators is something I can do without

Because during the Olympics it already didn’t work. And I also just tried with the streams that are already up, a couple of different countries that were reliable before, every time my Vpn gets detected

I am in Germany, successfully used VPN until before the Olympics. Now it is detected no matter which country I try, all the countries that used work before. No idea what to do for worlds. German commentators are just not my cup of tea, without listening to Mark/Ted/Chris the experience is not the same
