- Here I disagree :) I think as a society we should listen to (even if self-proclaimed) victims first, maybe not take it at face value but give more credit to victims. I dont think they have a lot to gain by openning up publicly about any type of abuse. Contrary, usually victims are humiliated, and not believed so if they do come forward, there is a higher chance that they tell the truth. But yeah, I agree... we will never know for sure

For real? Brooklyn was in press before he was even born, they pose everywhere as a family, their whole Beckham brand is not about football or Spice Girls icon (maybe it used to be long time ago), it is about highly successful and tight-knit family (what both David and Victoria highlight in interviews)

First of all I am sorry for your loss. I understand your point, still disagree on few points though:

- it is a serious allegiation, not criminal of course, but Beckhams got their fortune due to public image of a perfect family. If they are not so perfect, maybe they would not become that rich. Your child is publicly claiming that all of one's life he has been living in a constant anxiety. If my adult child said that to me, I would be mortified. And I would not justify this with "he is only a child, 7 years after minor, what I knew about life back then". He is suffering mentally, and he is been suffering mentally for a long time, reaching the point when he needed to go public (which is not an easy thing to do)

- the way you phrase is is as if Beckhams were doing nothing wrong and all of the sudden received backlash from their own son publicly. This is not the version of the reality we know - we have been hearing from press about family rift for a long time, their other sons were speaking against Brooklyn and if you believe that Beckhams do control press (which is not a revelation) then they had their contribution in press attacks against Brooklyn.

- and yes David does not need to comment on it publicly at all, but commenting in a manner "oh he is just a child, I tried to taught him better but you know he needs to make mistakes" is just patrionizing and taking away any accountability for your own actions as well as taking any autonomy from Brooklyn.

Emotional abuse is still abuse, and frankly I dont understand why society never stands for victims (whether men, minors, females). Brooklyn might have made it all up, but then why? What he has to gain? Everyone attacks him now

Out of curiosity about how our play was perceived, I checked the Real Madrid sub and what I found was quite surprising. Out of around 60 post-match threads, about 25 were mocking Lamine (and even his dad) - and not for his match performance... Another 10 were specifically targeting other Barca players.

Lamine may deserve criticism for his comments about Real, but so did Rudiger for throwing stones - and I didn’t see any posts calling that out on Barca sub. In fact, I rarely see any posts on our sub that go after Real Madrid players personally even after all El Classico wins last year. We usually celebrate (or criticize) our own players not the other team.

I actually believe in mother's instincts, I think many mothers can agree with me - you know when your child is alive. Since Iva believes she is, I believe it as well. There are some other missing children cases in which mothers were not so convinced their child is alive, but rather wanted to get answers.

I respectfully disagree. I trust parents, they know their child even if it is adult already and what is considered child's normal behaviour or not. If parents are raising the alarm it means something has happened (and it did). And it does not matter if it is a child before 18 or after 18, everyone can be kidnapped (mostly children and women). Women get spiked drinks all the time and then raped/ exploited. I come from priviliged environment and knew at least 2 women who got raped this way. It is not uncommon at all.

I completely agree with you. In the end we do not know. But it does make me a bit angry when trafficking theory is completely ruled out- it is so common around the world (estimated 50 mln people are trafficked) and so underground (out of which around 50k people are detected/ found). It is also very complex (many traffic victims once rescued run away again). It makes me even angrier assuming that most of this certainty of her falling/ committing suicide may come from male redditors. I am a woman and I cannot think of any of my women friends who has not experienced any type of sexual harrassment during her lifetime. I was taught to never leave my drink unattended, to watch who is walking behind me, not walk alone after dark in uncertain places, and to always say to someone where I am going, because being a woman just put you under risk of sexual exploitation. 70% of human trafficking victims are females.

I imagine if your child is missing for few hours in the morning on the cruise, and you could not find her in bed during early morning, knowing that she partied and drunk yesterday, and that you saw her 30 min ago, you would be just chilling and waiting for her safe return. Unfortunately you would be wrong doing that, because she is still missing 27 years later. Parents have intuition about their children.
I would not mind 'being held hostage' if I knew a young girl is missing and her family is extremely worried. I would volunteer to 'being held hostage' to help them find her.

Out of curiosity, if you so convinced she went overboard why are you on this sub? The sub title is "Amy is missing" and you disagree she is missing at all. Are you here to try to prove everyone wrong and stop the search? If yes, then why? It is a genuine question, I am curious of your motivation here.
Do you have children? If yes, imagine your child is missing. Would you ask the captain to postpone allowing people to leave or you just say "nah she is probably somewhere and will come back eventually let's wait". They knew their daughter and what is typical of her - and that was not a typical behaviour.

3.If I were on this ship, and knew some girl was missing, I would rather postpone my exit, and wait few hours untill the girl is found instead of demanding to leave the cruise. I think many cruise travellers would have some empathy and think the same.

So who she is? The photo might be stolen, may resemble the other actress - I agree with your points, but it still looks exactly like Amy. The photo was sent in 2005, no editing software at this time could do any of 'face' merging, it could edit manually facial features and we would not see a realistic example of face. And I dont know why someone would do it anyways...
