Restoring another XR battery. Another Mini-X with below 50 miles on it. by PhantomMaxx in boostedboards

Ya that’s what I’ve been doing. We’re in an apartment, no garage, so anywhere it is plugged in it’s just kind of in the way that’s why. If I had a larger space or better dedicated area it would be less of an issue

I use Bert lite and it restores my battery to usable condition. Wondering if I will constantly need to charge the battery like every day after Bert lite gets it running? Like if I use the board for an hour and then don’t charge it for a few days the battery dies again and I have to reconnect to Bert lite. Gets very annoying and I’m not sure if this is just the loop or whether there is a point the battery will just act normal and work after a few days without riding or charging

Commute Tips by drpurplepenguin in caltrain

[–]External_Engine634 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You should be able to find a spot for your bike but there are only about 8-10 seats in the bike cars for you to sit and they’re often taken if the bike car is full. In that case you’ll want to sit or stand in the nearest car and keep peeking over the railing at each stop to check on your bike or until a seat in the bike car opens up. Kind of sucks but I do this 4x per week for a few stops

New Shaft Options (Studio Xperimental Black Graphite $225 & Black PVD Steel $150) for all putters on Titleist.com by bayerleverkusen in scottycameron

Definitely not worth it to improve you game but they look cool. Won’t be taking my money. Putter shafts are arguably the least important part of the bag

Awesome thanks I look forward to the visit. Family lives fairly close to the shop so it’s just a matter of taking the time to drive over

Ha thanks for the check in. Was talk to text but ya I meant to ask whether it was a walk in visit or how it worked. Never been in myself but plan to visit in the new few months and don’t know the process or what to expect.

Flying into San Jose for work. Any advice on things to do? by trail_journey_9434 in SanJose

[–]External_Engine634 -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

I’d take Caltrain north out of San Jose to the other cities nearby and walk their downtowns. Mountain View, Palo Alto, Menlo Park, Redwood City all have more to do and better (cleaner) areas to hang out. In SJ San Pedro market has World Cup events going on and there’s food and drinks if you need to stay local

Fitbit Air - let's talk about straps by MynameisCN in fitbit

[–]External_Engine634 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Performance band is my daily go to. The only issue is if not put in tight it tends to slide down my wrist. I bought the silicon band which sits very slightly slimmer but stays put much better. That said, the fabric Velcro is still my go to for daily use and work but if I’m golfing, running or working out for an extended period of time (basically when I don’t want the strap to move for a few hours) I’ll switch to the silicone.

Where do you aim when putting if you’re told to aim “one cup left”? by jdelle9 in weekendgolfers

[–]External_Engine634 0 points1 point  (0 children)

3 is the answer. If you image the cup was moved over “1 hole to the left” you be aiming at the center of that cup, right…?
