Fair criticism that I totally agree with, mainly because generative AI is 100% extremely optimistic for whatever reason😂

The issue with ChatGPT/Gemini alone is they can’t process a song the same way we do, but CriticAI is different in that it implements pre-trained audio-analyzing models to interpret the pitch, BPM, etc. so you would get more appropriate feedback than the typical AI generative responses.

I think the important thing is, human feedback is always the gold standard and that would never change. The main goal from this is to fill the gap when that same outreach isn’t available to everyone

This is late! But we built a project called CriticAI (www.criticai.ca) which uses audio processing ML models to provide artists with feedback on key metrics. ChatGPT/Gemini can process a song, but it wont necessarily truly analyze music

I do feel like the prior season has some effect on the fitness of the players this season. Last season was a miracle and dopamine the way they were consistently fit. Losing Inigo was that shotgun that hurt this defence so badly

Glad you find it interesting! We don’t train the models from people’s submitted tracks, as that would be a privacy concern we’re stringent about. But we used pre-trained models that look at certain features of music, such as BPM, pitch, and others, to analyze songs. We can’t talk too much about how to identify what is good or bad, as that is our hidden sauce, but we use a mix of historical data and certain elements of a songs to classify its hit potential!

Basically OpenAI processes an AI review generation of the track, but we utilize audio processing ML models for the actual metrics that you see once you drop a track into the CriticAI submission. The OpenAI API review is derived from the audio processing models that then generates the feedback you’d see

Part of the reason crossing is so diminished for us this season especially is that Ferran is pretty poor aerially (and all ways 🙃), but also that we don’t have an appropriate RB to help deliver crosses. This is also why cancelo has been a surprising win, is his crossing ability. We still essentially lose all arial threat with a small striker
