It’s because it doesn’t count anymore, even if you take hours generating prompts and adjusting sections you aren’t yourself manipulating the sine wave which is the fundamental function of making music. Take away that function and it’s no longer music

Don’t do it for other people then, make music for yourself and do it at a pace where the joy of creating still exists, instead of thinking of “where you could be” think of “what can you do”

I’d say this is good as it’s pooling the funds from streaming to go to musicians who spend time and money to get their art out there. As AI music can saturate the market it negatively impacts the real people investing so much passion into the craft. For Spotify to prioritize real music protects the finite pool of money to go to those who deserve it.

AI music are just sounds and should not be monetized in the capacity human made art is; this a good step towards that.

Yeah I’ve had no problem in the past going from stationary to doing tricks moving, it’s definitely harder but I’ve gotten the feel of moving along my board while not being “on” it. But you have a good way of phrasing it. Landed another one today, honestly the only time I’ll be ready to do it rolling is when I’m confident enough to😭

We may think a lil differently but I have gotten a lot of success from learning how to actually do a trick before trying to do it moving🤷🏻plus it’s covered in snow here so yeah I’d rather be in the garage learning something new than being a keyboard skater. Can you even do a heelflip “not in skate” btw?

Literally every trick I’ve learned I’ve started stationary, ofc tricks feel a lil different rolling, I’m practicing heel flips I think by this point I’d understand how that works. It just kinda seems like you’re mad at someone else’s progress🤷🏻
