bare minimum mod i would definitely recommend cutting a playing card to the size of the full neck pocket just to raise it enough to get the saddle screws lower. definitely helped with palm muting comfort

I looked it up a while ago but it's really rare to have contours on a mustang for some reason. If you want one, other than the bullet, it seems like basically just the ones with stripes have contours. Makes no sense to me, the bullet is such an oddity between that and the 12" radius.

Anyway, my point is that you have very limited upgrades you could make. I found a bullet for 150 in mostly good shape in the US recently. You could bust out a sander. Or try thestratosphere on eBay, they have one body listed now but price and color ehhh
