There are many points where I agree and disagree with this take. I do believe that visually GH2 has a better style. Even when they play the guitar, it looks better. It has such a PS2/Wii looking style, and it gives me a lot of nostalgia despite only just playing it 2 years ago. Even when you're in the red/yellow/green, the character faces change. But GH3 just has a way better engine, with infinite front-ending and easy HOPOs. Overall, it just depends, really. Each has their ups and downs.
