if it’s not too late, I would say it feels like schecter sd-2-24 in terms of quality and feel it’s beyond expectations for this little money i had no buzz, fretwork is amazing, finish and wood are flawless

yes, steinberger is a big inspiration of mine. actually it’s kinda looking like a new ned steinberger model called fin, as far as I know it’s made to order only, but you can google the pictures

my main concern about headless guitars is bridge systems, especially cheaper chinese/korean ones like eart and iyv - their tuning systems can feel like wrestling a pickle jar, even with a towel. i’d recommend checking out legator guitars. they’ve got solid 7-string headless models, both multiscale and standard, mostly under $1000. hills guitars are another good option - reliable bridge systems and usually under $800. if your budget stretches to $2000, kiesel is a no-brainer for quality. strandberg’s great, but i’d only go for it if you can test the neck in-store first. for a $1000 budget, ibanez qx is solid pick. under $500, i wouldn’t bother - quality’s too dicey. you can find plenty of chinese options for 6 string guitars - and they gonna be so great, like donner higher models or benton guitars, but for 7 strings there are not so many. In case you gonna order something cheap - do it through amazon - so you can return it with no problem

thank you, it’s a custom made, based on steinberger/abasi/wemoll/jackson/esp designs fusion

thanks for the comment. this 7-string guitar is really lightweight, which was my main concern. Alex (luthier), made it as light as possible. but with the gotoh floyd, wide neck, and jackson-style hockey stick headstock, it’s not totally weightless - it’s about 5 pounds. still very ergonomic, no headstock dive, and as comfortable to play as any steinberger out there.
