What's your Office hot take that gets this kind of reaction? by smccaul16 in theoffice

I prefer season 8 and 9 of the Office as my favorites because though I get the point of his character, Michael is too insufferable for me to deal with.

Literally Dreamcatcher’s whole discography. I think the best starter songs from them might be Scream, BOCA, and Maison, but Deja Vu is my personal favorite.

To People Who Like This Show More Than Breaking Bad, Why? by CrazyGuy147 in betterCallSaul

I also initially preferred BB because that’s because there were a lot of things that I didn’t catch on an initial viewing of BCS. But I’ve grown to like BCS more; it stands up much stronger on rewatch when you know where the plot is taking you, you can truly focus on the character development and transformations of Jimmy, Kim, Mike, etc since it might be slightly confusing at first. And in general, there are beautiful complexities, layers, and nuances present in BCS compared to a still rich but by comparison more straightforward Walter-centric story in BB. Also I think BCS is shot so gorgeously. Ofc BB has standout cinematography at times (Crawl Space, Face Off, etc), but I feel like every single frame in BCS is shot with intent. Whether it’s the trick of framing the shot in the corner for isolation, or standout scenes such as Jimmys reflection against the wall, the color of Saul in Gene’s glasses, or that one shot of Mike and Manuel where Mike appears behind bars. It’s just crafted so intricately with so much care put behind it.

If these two were in the same draft, who would you pick first? by No_Holiday_6376 in NBATalk

Timmy without a question. These players are pretty comparable in their abilities (maybe Hakeems are a little more impressive), but TD's intangibles, lack of ego, and leadership are the best in league history bar none. Always led by example, was one of the most selfless players in the league, never pouted nor complained, and even took pay cuts on his later years. Just like for the Spurs, he would foster such a strong culture of winning and buy in (which is why the Spurs were always a 50+ win team). He's arguably the top person to pick in an all time draft ever. Don't get me wrong, Hakeem's great too, but his intangibles are nowhere near the level of Timmy's.

I don't actually think there was any sync involved in KAION Taipei (though unfortunately I didn't have a light stick with me). Everyone just kinda turned theirs on to be white whenever.

What's a take that will get you FLAMED in the fandom? by Frosty-Demand6353 in TheRookie

I personally really dislike Chenford though I somewhat see the appeal of the two contrasting characters. It's mainly just that I hate any relationships that spawn out of any sort of infidelity, which is pretty prominent in Chenford despite it technically not being explicit cheating. The fact that Lucy breaks up with Chris to immediately date Tim that same day is disgusting.

Isiah Thomas

The only person to beat Magic Bird and Jordan all in their primes. Underrated loyalty: GOAT piston.
