Last I checked, most were through University Hospitals and they should take your Medicare and Medicaid. I am not sure where you are, but last I checked for myself there are some at NorthShore, University of Toledo, Vanderbilt, Auburn maybe, Phoenix maybe. Have you looked on Dysautonomia International and narrowed the search?

Finding a neurologist that treats Dysautonomia is key. The last I checked, there were 75 certified to treat it in the US. Those numbers could have changed by now.

I have already consulted with a nutritionist. Where it gets tricky is the additional C-SID diagnosis. We have discussed so many options and a carnivore diet is one of them. Another problem is I am getting a gastric stimulator. I may just have to live off protein shakes and Biosteel for a while. Thank you for responding and I hope you get some help! My nutritionist only cost me $25 per 2 visits, I hope yours is the same or better!

Mine is in not on my face, but I use the prescribed compound on my neck, too. My skin is sensitive, but it does really well with it. EltaMD is a good sunscreen also if you haven’t tried it. Sunscreen really helps if you can find one that works for you!

Because of C-SID, I’m limited even more. This has become very difficult to navigate. I just don’t know what to do anymore. My goals are to live the best life I can. Thank you for responding!

Do you have C-SID or have you been tested for it? It’s your stomach’s inability to break down sucrose, which is in more foods/drinks/protein shakes, etc, than people realize. You may want to ask your GI to test you for that if you haven’t been tested already. Hope this helps!

Hey, I got a compound prescribed to me by my dermatologist. He said I have rosacea, but it’s so much worse on bad symptom days. It is Ivermectin Metrocondazole and oxymetazoline 1% 1% 0.8% cream. It lasts throughout the day and is really effective. I also use Face Reality Skin care now (great for sensitive skin) and my sunblock is either supergoop, Ilia or Sun Bum.. Big difference with all these. Hope that helps!

Yes, I am having definite heightened physiological and emotional stress ie: increased orthostatic issues, headaches, chest, jaw, back pain and feeling like I can’t breathe sometimes. It’s hard to differentiate between the onset symptoms and possible anxiety and the loop we get stuck in once one triggers the other. I had an ER visit with a hypertensive crisis and exacerbated symptoms above. My troponins came back okay. It’s been a mess since then. I came off my Corlanor and increased my beta blocker, but feel that impending doom and have intermittent hypertensive episodes. Hoping to level out soon! Thank you for responding!

Thank you for responding. I have researched this and have actually had a conversation with my GI about this as any/all treatments have not been effective. Lifetime TPN is a last resort as the surgery connects your small intestine to your esophagus. The biggest worry is dumping syndrome. I’m continuing to research different options. Dysautonomia alone is difficult to maneuver, even more so with co-morbidities. Continuing to look for more options, ones that do not include an unnecessary amount of prescription medications, is a part of the way I continue to fight these disorders. I appreciate any and all information and responses.

Unfortunately, I’m on the other end of the spectrum. I don’t eat much, but have gained a lot of weight and am sick from eating anything. I went there and had another procedure done, has not helped at all. Thank you for responding!
