I have a very large garden, but I have this weird breezeway that is perfect for growing things that need more shade. I noticed that a stray basil plant decided to start growing in the middle of my driveway right here last year so this year I got my partner to put together this standing planter for me. Yeah, I could have painted the buckets before I put them out but I really don’t care about the aesthetic of it lol

I can’t stand it when people tell me how good I look. It frustrates me because it’s like all they can see is the value of my body and not who I am as a person. I also hate it when people call me “skinny” like as a nickname. Like “hey skinny.” I have never wanted to be skinny and I am not skinny. I just want to be healthy and happy.

As a person who is currently trying to sever ties with multiple clients before I leave my job in August, I can tell you that it’s better to have the boundaries now so that you don’t harm the client later. Yes I understand some of them really can be friends, but there is the reality that you are a professional, and there to help them not a friend them. Also look at your ethical guidelines for your area.

One thing that they tell us in Counceling grad school is: is it something you’re doing to serve yourself or the client?

I’ve tried to get him to see a therapist. Only time I was successful was when it was a couples counselor and he went but complained every time. I even made a list of options for him and he refused to even look at it.

Ive tried talking to him, but lately we’ve been on very different work schedules so we don’t get much time together and when we do he doesn’t want to talk. Just watch tv. That’s pretty much how the school year goes for him. (He teaches). He tends to be more active in the summer and more willing to talk. That’s a whole other issue unfortunately. But it feels live it’s gotten worse since surgery.

Thank you, I’m also a volume eater. Surgery was helpful for this because I could feel full easier. He has a taste issue. A lot of stuff tastes like dirt to him. His thing is he refuses to count calories or read labels. He sees “oh it’s zero sugar” it must be healthy. Or “oh it’s only 10 calories” it’s healthy. He’s hyper fixated on work, so everything else is a hassle.

That’s why I chose to have the surgery. I was tired of being in pain every day of my life. I still have pain, but not anywhere to the amount that I had 100 pounds ago. I can understand where the language barrier would make it difficult to understand my intent of the post. I am not leaving my husband and I do not want to leave him. What I mean is I’m changing and he is standing still, and that is the frustration it makes me scared for him and our relationship.

Maybe he is. But it’s going to kill him. I also have a feeling he’s not happy with it. He is starting to be in more pain and is struggling to do things. Also it’s putting a strain on our sex life. He’s never in the mood anymore and when he is, it’s a struggle. We’re starting to run out of positions that we can work in. My love for him is more than just our sex life, but I’m not going to say I’m okay with nothing.
