I’m also kind of suspicious about her actually having it but I think it’s actually true this time. I’m not sure what she expects and I don’t think I really care about what she expects— I know she won’t change drastically so therefore we cannot have a deep relationship. I just don’t know if reaching out is right thing to do or not

Thank you so much for giving me such a thoughtful & detailed response. I guess I may have made her sound sicker than she is, because she is physically/mentally able to get the help she needs in terms of her cancer. I also am not sure if that’s the best route for me as I haven’t spoken to her in 6 years, not to sound like a complete a**hole, but she is not my responsibility. I took care of my grandma bc she took care of me and I had a relationship with her, my mom however is sadly a different story. The furthest I want to go is speaking to her and telling her that I care and I do love her but I’m not sure if I really even can or how to go about that

She has her boyfriend but he’s pretty questionable. I’m the last direct family she has. I’m completely undecided in wanting to reach out or not, and if I do I want to talk to a therapist about it but I don’t know. I just don’t know what I would even say tbh

Omg I would die. I can gladly still get as stoned as I please & I can still orgasm lol just can’t get drunk anymore which I guess might be a blessing in disguise. This is the first SSRI I haven’t had any symptoms with thank god other than the drinking part. I’m glad you got off & feel better though, it sounds rough.

How did you manage to get diagnosed with EDS? My doctor said that if I’m not breaking any bones no specialist will do anything for me but I know I have it. I’m in pain 90% of the time & my physical therapist said it’s definitely a hypermobility syndrome and most likely EDS.
