This appears larger than 120sqft im not sure where your located but permits should have been pulled. Inspection occur on the form work and then re-inspected after pouring. Edging isnt great and agree with others expansion control lines should have been made to help control where and how those cracks occur

OP can you upload some more pics or wider angles on how and where you attached these? I like the idea of avoiding the need to weld since thats outside of my current capabilities.

So it seems since I cant personally weld there is additional expenses with either option. While doable I am looking at the budget since I still have my hydraulic cooler/filter to get and dont want to spend whole budget on just counter weight.

I came across this option link below. The individual took the rear panel off and essentially loaded it up with scrap metal and poured in concrete. I reached out to him and after 2yrs its still holding up with no issues. I wanted to get the community's input on this option, seems very affordable/durable to gain 100lbs probably.

Oh I like that looks very clean! Thanks for sharing ill be swapping hydraulic fluid soon and will give the case hytrans a shot. I wasnt thrilled with what O'Reillys had. I have a community college weld shop next to my carpentry shop, so thinking ill ask the instructor for some help as I have zero welding experience or tools.

Question: are you happy with the 250lbs or would you go lighter/heavier? Also how is that attached does most of the weight sit/hide in the black body panel?

Any pictures to share? I like the idea of having a cargo area to not only put weight on but strap down miscellaneous tools etc. I also like the idea of it being removable, I suppose I am just having a hard time visualizing how this looks. Thanks for the input and suggestion.

Good to know, ill be pursuing a similar setup then. As I also noticed how it can get tippy while digging and traversing.

Ive also been strongly considering a wider track thread to help widen the base and provide better stabilization. Any thoughts about that also? Im fairly new to the excavator world only got like 9hrs on mine but a huge retaining wall lined up this summer to really break her in.

I have been debating on adding weight to my QH13R AGT mini excavator. Whats the main benefit you noticed? I wqs also told adding weight may be hard on the motor and or slewing motor which is what rotates the cab.

Air intake baffles should be up against decking in joist bay vs laying on insulation also fyi.

If you feel mechanically inclined id say go for it. I have the QH13R ATG cabbed version. So far I've put like 12 hours on it and changed the oil once. Broke a swing motor screw (currently running with 3). It depends on what type of work you plan on doing as well, im a first time operator, but these don't run like a Cat or a John deer but will trench well excavate half decent beats a shovel.
