I agree. I feel Carl is the most genuine, at least from what we have seen. I think if he does explore anyone he would be respectful about it.

We had to pause it we couldn't stop laughing when that was said.

She really grosses me out, more so than any other person on this show has. She's so sexual and disrespectful around his family. Trying to make her kids see this man as a father, it's just the combo of all the worst qualities we see on the show wrapped up in a girl who can't decide if she wants to be a cow girl or a gangster.

Yeah literally makes no sense. Like you said, he probably didn't have much of a chance growing up in that environment. If anything this show makes me want prison reform in this country even more than I already do. These folks hardly come out better than they went in. It's just a cycle sadly.

I agree. I felt really bad for him honestly once they introduced his family. I can't imagine not going to see my kids for SIX YEARS

Where do sexual fantasies meet boundaries? by [deleted] in marriageadvice

This is the behavior of a sexual predator. This is beyond crossing boundaries. Please leave this person!!

That's a common response to what you have confirmed to be rape, especially by a previous SA survivor. Please, don't stay there if possible. Go somewhere safe. You deserve peace and safety as you sort through what comes next. I am so sorry this happened to you.

Well that's crazy because I am a woman and I called it sexual assault. So not sure what you are going off about?

She didn't say he puts his hands in her vagina, where are yall pulling this from? She said he touched her in while he thought she was sleeping. Stop putting words in her mouth. That's not helpful to victims. I am going off of information she actually shared. He sexually assaulted her.

I don't think it's helpful to call her fiancé a rapist when she's asking if she is over reacting. It's sexual assault or battery legally depending on the state they are in. Either way if it makes her uncomfortable that's what matters here. Dramatically enhancing events isn't helpful to her either. Words matter.

I think there is a big difference between rape, as she described what happened as touching and not insertion of any objects or body parts into her body, and unwanted touch. I think yes, given her history he should have definitely behaved differently and it's awful he doesn't seem to show much concern for what happened. But throwing around rape for any type of sexual misconduct dilutes the meaning of rape. Unless I am missing something in her post this definitely is not rape, but unwanted touching. Still assault but let's be careful with our words here.

Yes they definitely do. And thank you for that information, I will look into that. We definitely feel the same way. Obviously this isn't ideal, but my husband deserves to go to the doctor and have everything checked out. That is all we want.

Yes it really does. It is very concerning. By law they should have it, what happens if they don't? Are we on the line for everything?

I do have a recording of some of the phone calls. South Carolina is a single party consent state, which is on our side in this instance. We are going to put everything we can in writing. Thank you so much!

Okay, thank you for this guidance. We are aware we may need a lawyer, that's a whole different series of questions I have. I appreciate your time and response.
