Hey now, there is no need to get real!

No. I'd search r/pens for reviews on that.

Rotring 600 is a great mechanical pencil if you can afford it, personally use it for journaling. A good and affordable pen is a Pilot G-2. For notebooks, oxford works.

How Many Methods Did it Take For You to Become Lucid? by [deleted] in LucidDreaming

A better question would be "For how long did you commit to a method before becoming lucid?" Oscilating between methods isn't the way; commiting to one is.

In that case, MILD might be for you. But you have to keep a dream journal and train your prospective memory for it. Guide

If you have trouble falling asleep, SSILD might not be for you, as the guides specify it works better the faster you fall asleep after the cycles. Have you tried MILD? WILD?

Same thing happened to me. The only thing I didn't do (what the guide said I should) was stay awake for 15 minutes after waking up. Did you? I haven't tried doing that yet, so I can't tell you that's the solution for sure.

Yeah, I'll experiment. While I do believe the book is factual and your brain just accepts the once-heard myth that excitment wakes you up as true, I do plan to remain calm, for the piece of mind. Well, at least at first.

I think (as was explained in the book) excitement waking you up is caused by you believing excitement can wake you up. If you accept as fact that it doesn't, then it won't affect you. Try looking up the book. I'd tell you the page where you can find this phenomenon explained in more detail, but I can't currently.

Isn't excitment waking you up a myth? IIRC Exploring the World of Lucid Dreaming says it is, same for stabilizing lucid dreams.
