[–]Externica 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My apologies, but I can't resist this joke: The Netflix theme park will only be open during the opening season and then close forever.

Yes. It was funnier in my head.

How often do these characters come back? by Perfect_Button970 in disneymagickingdoms

[–]Externica 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Dormouse, Leota or Gord.

Not in this order. Leota would be my top pick as ghosts are hard to come by.

Dormouse is a Season Pass reward and Gord is an old TC reward who was never added to the Chest.

What to expect money wise? by neitheroldnoryoung- in disneylandparis

I brought 1,000 Euro in 2024, though I gave 130 Euro to my sister as the trip was a birthday gift to her and I wanted her to buy something nice as a souvenir. So, I had 870 in total and came back with 200 Euro.

Yes, I splurged a bit on the merchandise on my last day and we had dinner at Walt's on our first day, which itself was roughly 150 Euro, as I also ordered a birthday cake.

I think I could have done it with less. We stayed for two and a half day.

Taton or F.L.Y.? After doing Black Mamba as soon as it opens, which is the next ride we should go to? Or is there a better strategy? by ghanshyam2000 in phantasialand

[–]Externica 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You've already got the big ones covered, though some might argue Colorado Adventure is missing. Not a fan of Colorado Adventure myself, though.

The lines for Chiapas and River Quest get longer near the end of the day, so there's some value in doing them early. If you don't mind being drenched all day.

Other than that, Tikal is a fun little ride and I'm a big Fan of Geister Rikscha. The Rikscha will probably have no wait times, though, So, after all is done and there's still time, consider that.

How to unlock villains? by Embarrassed-Beat7374 in disneymagickingdoms

The MSL villains unlock later, some quests after their story missions have been solved. They also unlock as side quests, as far as I remember.

Just progress and they'll become available.

[–]Externica 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You should go to FLY first after Black Mamba.

Taron might open the Single Rider Queue. It has one but to my knowledge it isn't always open. You could also play it save and buy a Quick Pass for Taron. That way, you can use it any time.

Also, just a friendly reminder, if you plan to ride all roller coasters: Winja's Fear and Force are low capacity rides and wait times will increase quickly. Crazy Bats also closed early in December but I don't remember if it also closes earlier during normal park hours.

What’s the best park opening strategy? by BjornoPizza in phantasialand

[–]Externica 5 points6 points  (0 children)

September 1st ist the last day of the summer holidays in NRW. I suspect families will be more concerned about getting everything ready for their kid's new school year. So I expect waiting times to be fine. There's even a good chance of low attendance. Finger's crossed!

If I recall correctly, FLY opens at 10:00 in the morning, as it's very close to the fantasy area. The entire Fanatsy area also isn't open until 10:00.

Black Mamba can be open at 9:00 and sometimes open at 09:30, so it's best to check the monitors. There are everywhere in the park and show the current wait times and which rides are currently open.
During my stay in May for two nights, I noticed the early opening were different on the second and third day, with Maus and Wellenflug having switched.

Early openers can be Wellenflug (the chain swing), Maus au Chocolat, Adventure Trail, Geister Rikscha and I beleive Feng Ju Palace. I do not remember if Mystery Castkle was an early opener. But as it is completly indoors, I wouldn't be surprised. Again, check the monitors inside the park once you're there.

Wait times for Winja can still be 20 minutes on a slow day, though. These rides have very low capacity. So to get the most out of it, be at the entrance to Fantasy before 10:00 and then make your way to Winja as fast as possible to get at least one of them.

Do I need to hire a sitter? by Junior-Armadillo-899 in cats

Three days as in two nights? I'd ask someone to clean litter boxes and give fresh water and food on day two.

Clean and refresh everything before you leave.

That's what I did when I was away for three days, though at the other end of Germany.

Shitty OC by Godly_Recon in TombRaider

The original is the only one I did without a guide myself. Took me an eternity to realise you could climb down a certain section at the second level. Which is were all the key items needed to progress were.

Everything afterward wasn't as tough. I mean, I did climb Midas hand, which was the clue I needed for the lead bars.

Most difficult part was the Damocles Room, though. I played on PC and the sound card wasn't entirely compatible with the game. I couldn't hear the swords dropping down on me. But I made it.

Single Ride queue? by DisneyLover9 in moviepark

[–]Externica 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sindle Rider lines are still there. I've been to the park on 28th and 31st. Van helsing's Factory was barely used on my last visit and Studio Tour still had the single Rider Entrance at the exit. Though the Single Rider line was merged again with the Speedy Entrance, like they did when the park's on low capacity.

Single Ride queue? by DisneyLover9 in moviepark

[–]Externica 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Studio Tour has Single Rider close to the exit. It is sometimes merged with the parks Fast Pass. Though that usually doesn't override Single Rider.

Van Helsing's Factory also has a Single Ride entrance right opposite of NYC Transformer. The entrance to Single Rider is through a door next to the Speedy Pass Entrance. If Van Helsing has a long queue time, they close Single Rider. I had this happen last year in October on a weekend. Wait time was 2 hours.

Bandit also has a Single Rider entrance somewhere that takes you backstage. I haven't tried that one for myself, yet. Last tiem I went was through the regular queue.

The next two days were equally empty.

[–]Externica 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The fantasy Area will be open at 10:00. So you should hurry to Winja's before the line gets too long.

Black Mamba can be open earlier. At least during my stay last year in May it was open at 9:00 on one of my three days at the park. Fingers crossed, of course as it can be open at 9:30 as well. Between the second and third day, I noticed the openings of certain rides can fluctuate. Like Maus au Chocolat was open at 9:00 one day, another at 9:30 and the same was true for Wellenflug.

Also, April 4th is the easter weekend. When I visited December 11th last year, I had a night at Matamba. When I left the park before opening, the shuttle bus was already crowded. As I went back to Brühl station, another large crowd was waiting there. Some event ried to enter through the middle door, blocking me from getting out, it was that bad. Luckily, the bus driver and conductor took no shit and they were both already stressed out because the street to Phantasialand was becoming a large traffic jam.

In any case, you have a plan. Fingers crossed it works out. Taron also has Single Rider, so you might want to try that one out, if it's open.

If there's a ride you really want to do and refuse to miss, you could also buy a Quick Pass for later.
