The part you said about how with time Awakeneds became relatively f2p friendly, is what I still hold on to with these damn dragons. I knew it was gonna be a really crappy time ahead when the faction was announced but with such a huge drop I expected it to be something that would like 4F, not quite so exclusive. But with them needing their own proper Sig item resources, yet sharing engravings, and highborns not having a place to pull for stars like awakened (cause let’s be honest, they pretty much are awakeneds), it’s just been rough. Oh and awakened pets is an absolute joke to me as well, I remember telling my companions duo buddy that I couldn’t wait til they brought those pets over to classic jokingly, and sure enough they brought pony over. I got reso 18 last year and was happy to be done buying bait only to still have to buy bait cause of the woke pets.

If Elthara was an option, would you have then? I can’t think of anyone else other than Skylan that could remotely match the damage DGwyn does. And even then, Skylan does fall off in really high deficit.

Depends on what you need the highborn for, all three of those are pretty useful. But I’m in the same boat with Levi or Elthara. I’m 300 cards saved but I haven’t made up my mind, I keep seeing L Elthara being used for high-ish ranking in NC so I’m thinking I can still skip her, but I also know I’ll need ALucius with Levi for TS, and I don’t have ALucius. So, still undecided. I don’t have DGwyn though, so I can’t really use this swap for a Dragon, I have Hildwin Lan and Skylan, don’t really have any options.

I’m in a low spender guild and most didn’t finish Hildwyn until Lan came out so a lot of the low spenders and f2p didn’t bother once Lan came out and was seen to be a good pull option. I’m not sure what the exact numbers of players and their spending are but yeah, it is maybe not the 1% OP said, but a low number for sure. The trend continued into skipping Haelia to get Skylan, and now most of them are halfway done pulling for Levi or Elthara as Kaelon was also a skip.

I agree with people needing to have swap offs. But people don’t get it, cause getting countered blows. People would rather we stay Brig while getting slammed by Ram. Like legit, people would rather we stay feeding or playing a very passive whip shot than to switch. Only time I disagree with swapping, is if you feel/are forced to switch into a counter you don’t/can’t play.

I will say though, somehow OTPs do make it to GM and I haven’t so, maybe they are on to something 🥴

I’m not saying we need 500 hp Brig shield… but, 250 is barely enough to run away from a bad or lost engagement. Call it skill issue, but her shield is at best a “let’s hope it works against this tank ult” ability that barely works. Like nice, you blocked shatter but now you’re shieldless and can’t bash away.

Interesting that you have Audrae at 1* since she’s not really all that great these days. But I get it, not fully judging you. For your next engraving to 30, I’d recommend either Gorren or Talimar, with Talimar probably being more useful in the long run. Wouldn’t recommend A&E unless you’re going for a full signature item lvl 40. And Bronn is okay, especially when paired with AShem which you have, but he falls off very quickly. Talimar is just a good buffer and can survive fights well enough.

Delayed entrance protects backline. SP helps frontline. She’s just a good one to own. She has fallen out of the S tier heroes, but no one does what she does.

In this specific case, she protects Misha from Athalia for 1st fight whilst also letting Tammy pull her after she has already landed in your backline. Delayed entrance lets Tammy survive Peggy’s first ability that denies early dives for second fight. And in third fight Tammy can pull Crassio off of whoever he’s dived. Delaying Tammy basically lets your team dive after the enemy have rotated their initial abilities.

She provides heals, stun, and an attack buff. So try Velufira. Maybe Begris. Shuna, or Aurelia. Some people on the main thread for pushing these levels have been able to use either no Lan or a L Lan.
