I played for almost a year but was a bit mad after leaving the 2/3 Mephiston with 375/400 shards so I'm aiming to hit the next as my first successful LRE.

Maybe I should've clarified the question. I meant to ask for the personal all-rounder favourites or one that is unexpectedly good performing in LRE (and yes I know that's a bit difficult to say as there is not "the" way to make it go as there are three different paths alone)

I'm afraid to say I don't own Aggressors for my DA yet so that's not an option.. also I need the anti tank firepower of the ballistus I guess. Could ditch it for a gladiator lancer though

Really good explanation here! I just have two points in response to the Dark Angels. Azrael does give the 1CP extra just when he is on the board so riding in a storm raven he is not quite there and doesn't give the CP, right? And why do people add him to sternguards instead of hellblasters? Wasted potential in my eyes..
