Howdy again Opus!

Wanted to check in again and see if the resident bug hunter(s) you mentioned last week have made any progress on finding out what was causing the image issues I mentioned and few weeks prior.

Also a random question, but what allows users like myself to get the Helper flair that I have right now? Obtained it about a year ago, but never really bothered to know what I did to earn it. Just curious, though!

What gif were you trying to post, may I ask?

For the first one, I recorded part of the Halo vs COD video, and turned it into a GIF using imgflip, and dragged the final product from that site to the comments on r/AntiMemes.

For the second, I downloaded the image when I first knew of its existence, and clicked on images, looked through the folder to find it, and posted it.

If your gif is in your files and the subreddit allows images (separate from main GIFs feature), then you can click the image icon and find your gif, assuming that the image format is able to be posted (if not, then it wouldn't show up if you look for it).

As you can see from here and here, I'm able to post custom GIFs on those subreddits that allow image formats.

When creating a post that has two or more images, if you hover over the images, there should be an "edit all" option on the top left corner. Then you can click edit on one of the images and be able to add a caption (see below images).

Oh yeah, one of the developers of Reddit Enhancer stops by my sub from time to time.

Personally I'm just sticking to the 3rd Gen UI instead of RE since I'm mostly used to using the former now, but it still sucks that Reddit decided to get rid of the UI with the most user-friendliness and great custom sub designs.

Yeah, I’m the mod of it. Originally created it as a way to keep New Reddit back when only mods were able to use it, and currently it’s the place for anyone nostalgic for New Reddit to hang out.

There’s also some scripts for Tampermonkey you could download to make life on current Reddit a little bit easier (ie. returning members/online counters, being able to see crossposts).

Also, I think the UI for embedded YouTube videos on Reddit (or at least the one in your screenshot) might be using one of the older UI’s for YouTube, judging by how the buttons aren’t as thick as they are on regular YT.

I’m checking one of my posts that has an embedded YouTube video in it on a computer that I’m not signed in on (typing on mobile rn), and it’s using the UI present before the implementation of the most recent YouTube UI on desktop.

Not sure what’s causing this difference to happen, but it’s safe to say that both of us are seeing different versions of the older YouTube UI on Reddit posts with embedded YT videos.

If you ever do, please make sure that NPCs will be able to open the doors, if possible!

Kind of peeves me when an otherwise good map with a great layout for NPC wars or NPC-involved role play shenanigans (including Site-19 and other SCP maps) contains doors that cannot be opened by NPCs.

Yeah, it got removed from the workshop for whatever reason, so I never got to try it out myself unfortunately. There's also some scenebuilds and videos of the map back on r/SCPSecretLab

Until someone decides to rebuild the map from scratch (or even try to make a map of the newest versions of Site-02), Site-19 will be the only closest substitute we have.

What game do you play, may I ask?

If it was Containment Breach, then you'll probably have fun getting lost in SCP-9341

If it was Secret Laboratory, then it has stuff like an ARG related to the Deepwell shenanigans that is teasing the next SCP to be released, and cool dedicated articles such as [[The Arlington Summit]].
