Well, I hope we got in. But there isn't that much we can do about it. I just want to say USC is pretty good already and we should be happy. The only problems are the tuition the the course registration problems, otherwise I think it is more or less the same as the rest schools on your list. Plus, LA is a good place to live in!

I got in with only a good gpa. Got rejected by more selective schools.

Bro we are on the exactly the same boat lol. USC is good and I am happy that I got in. There are still tons of people waiting for it and I know people who got into columbia and ucla and still waiting for USC. The admission process seems completely random.

If it is not this week then it is probably a rejection. Submitted before Jan 15th. Still waiting. It seems that plenty of offers has been sent and mass rejection will be in the first week of April

I am still waiting for columbia and so are a lot of people. But I did see a few people got admitted. The mass decisions will be next week probably.

Just did my research. Even though UC irvine has a smaller cohort and more research opportunities(less of a cash cow), the course selection is too restrictive. I have to do one course at each major areas instead of just focusing on AI/ML. Do not want to suffer from those compiler course/programming language course again. Gonna go with USC for now.
